Just a little update in what a few of us from did last week at the European powerlifting championships in .ie.
A great few days lifting from everyone, some tough calls amd some meh moments but all in all 9 gold medals a bucket load of records (British/European ans World Records. 4 best lifters winners. A massive achievement.
In order of lifting.
Masters 3 RAW weight 57kg
S 103kg WR B 60kg ER D 147.5kg WR best overall female masters lifter.chugg_x

What a day !❤️.
A massive thank you to everyone involved making Platform Gym and Fitness Club first British Powerlifting Union qualifier of 2026 one of our best events yet. From the first lift to the last lift of the day the support from everyone in the building for every single lifter was just amazing.

As always we could've done this without the help of some very special friends of mine.

Referees Richard and Frankie.

And thank you the the lifters for putting on a great show and everyone who came down and supported their friends, family and our Gym.

We hope you all had a great day and look forward to seeing you all at our next qualifier in October.

All results were sent off yesterday so if you've qualified for the British championships and or European championships you'll get your invite through very soon.
