Appledore FC 3-2 Eastside FC

Appledore started the first half really well moving the ball around nicely.
However eastside ride out the early pressure and Bailey Robertson provides a tasty finish into the bottom left corner putting the boys 0-1 ahead!

Some sloppy play in the middle from eastside lead to an easy chance for appledore, and another good finish makes it 1-1.

Appledore received a free kick on the half way line, it’s put in well and causes confusion/errors from todays make shift goalkeeper, making it 2-1.

HT

With eastside raring to go and create more chances this half, we push an extra man forward leaving a 1v1 situation at the back, and another good finish from the appledore forward. 3-1

Despite conceding, no heads dropped and the lads stayed confident they could could get a result!

JUST 28 days after scoring his first goal for Eastside (which took 504 days) Liam Robbie Bailey scored a fantastic header. With 3 mins remaining, its squeaky bum time for appledore.

Words cannot describe what happened in the last moments in this game… Appledore goal kick, taken short, poor touch from the CB. Mitch Gammon GOAA… FULL TIME

504 days since signing on, Liam Robbie Bailey get his first goal for Eastside!

the lads started off the game as quick as you like with a goal inside the first minute, a great cross from Carter Ward to meet the diving header of Bailey Robertson!

Eastside keep up the tempo and before you know it the 2nd 3rd and 4th all go in to send the lads 4-0 up at HT

Second half eastside start the exact same way and ponce on the mistake of thier shakey defence. Carter gets his second to make it 5-0! Really solid display from eastside lead us to dominate the game and a perfectly weighted pass over the top from Ollie May got Carter yet another hattrick.

After going a man down and a sloppy end to a really positive game we let them sn**ch back 3 goals

landkey town 🔑 2-5 Eastside FC

A windy first half and a slow start from the boys lead landkey to take the lead 5 mins in with a direct goal straight from the corner.
1-0
With 85 mins of the game still to be played the lads didn’t let their heads drop and kept going, with a poorly timed challenge inside the box from landkey, eastside were awarded the penalty and who other than Carter Ward to slot it home!
1-1
Pinball on the edge of eastside box and a few miss kicks and deflections to put landkey up before the break.
HT 2-1.

Half time seen 1 team come out, and another team not! Eastside get 2 quick Goals from Carter and Bailey Robertson putting us 2-3 up.
The defence keep it tight til the end and even after landkey make some good subs there was still no way through.

Carter completing his hattrick after a inch perfect cross from Finlay Clark for Carter to acrobatically volley is in at the back post.
