Mexbrough Rangers Tournament

A fantastic day for the boys who put in a brilliant performance throughout the tournament to finish top of the group, ending the group stage 5 points clear of the chasing teams.

The boys showed great determination, teamwork and quality in every game, playing some excellent football and working tirelessly for each other from start to finish.

Their efforts earned them a place in the Champs final, where they were ultimately defeated on penalties after a closely fought contest. While the result didn’t quite go our way, every player should be incredibly proud of what they achieved.

Finishing top of a strong group and representing the club with such commitment and sportsmanship is something they should all celebrate.

Well done, boys – a brilliant effort from everyone involved!

Another excellent training session!

The boys worked hard on possession, attacking and defending drills before finishing with penalty practice and a match. Plenty of quality on show, with Thomas making an incredible 8 penalty saves in a row! 🧤

Another excellent training session from the boys tonight!

The focus was on wing play, working on getting the ball into the channels and delivering quality crosses into the box. The lads practicd this through some competitive 3v3 games, and it was great to see them looking to use the wide areas and create chances.

A big congratulations to Finlay, Our Trainer of the Week, for some outstanding crossing and a fantastic attitude throughout the session.

Great session tonight with the boys

Worked on close ball control, bringing high balls down, and finishing into mini goals before finishing with some competitive 3v3 and 2v2 games.

Great session tonight! Started with a game of bulldog before I put it to a vote on what we did for training — and matches won 10/10! ⚽

We spent the full 80 minutes playing games with different challenges, including weak foot goals worth 5 and bonus goals for good passing moves. Brilliant effort and great to see so many players trying their weaker foot confidently 👏

Trainer of the Week goes to Blessed 🏆 Carried the ball well, scored with his weaker foot, and played some excellent passes. Well deserved!

The boys were absolutely fantastic today, showing brilliant passing from defence through midfield and into attack. Their confidence on the ball has grown so much, and it’s been amazing to see their progress over the season.

We controlled the game from start to finish and the teamwork on display was outstanding. A really well-deserved performance all round!
