Out of every 100 people that start Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu… only a handful stay long enough to reach the higher belts.

Not because they weren’t capable.
Because life gets busy. Injuries happen. Motivation fades. Progress feels slow.

But every belt earned at Flow•State represents consistency, discipline and showing up even on the hard days. 👊🏼

Nobody walks through the doors as a black belt.
We all start at white belt together.

So whether you’ve just started or you’ve been training for years — keep turning up, trust the process and enjoy the journey.

Classes keep getting busier and busier 👏🏼

Massive congratulations to everyone who got promoted tonight, hard work really does pay off.

We’re lucky to have the coaching team we have at Flow•State — two black belts, two brown belts, and now a blue belt joining the coaching team too. ⬛️⬛️🟫🟫🟦

This is one of the reasons we continue to do well in competition, but the biggest thing about Flow•State isn’t the medals… it’s the people. The atmosphere, the support, the laughs, and the way everyone pushes each other to improve every single session.

It truly feels like a team and we’re proud of what we’re building together 🤝

Every session they turn up, work hard, support each other, and leave the mats a little bit better than when they walked in. The skill level is growing every week, but more importantly so is the confidence, discipline, respect, and team spirit.

Some people are naturally gifted… but what’s even more impressive is the attitude that comes with it 👏🏼

It’s hard to explain how this young man only started training at Flow•State just 4 weeks ago… then goes out and wins 🥇 gold at his very first competition.

Louie has been an absolute joy to coach from day one. Listens, works hard, stays calm, and gives everything a go — exactly the kind of attitude that helps people improve fast.

Massive shoutout to one of our Ninjas, Trey Taylor 👏🏼🔥

Out of over 100 competitors, Trey secured an incredible 17th place for fastest submission with a lightning-fast finish in just 21.0 seconds ⏱️💥

That’s the result of hard work, confidence, and putting the training into action when it matters most. Super proud of the way Trey represented Flow•State BJJ today 👊🏼

Absolutely over the moon with everyone today. What a team Flow•State BJJ has become — and it truly is one big team effort.

Massive thank you to everyone who helped out today, especially Milan, Alex, Nathan — and of course our head coach Jake. Without Jake, none of this would be possible. The knowledge, time, effort, and passion he and Alex put into the team coaching week in week out is a massive part of what makes this place what it is. We’re lucky to have them leading the room 👊🏼

Big shout out to Louie and Oliver who this morning competed in their first Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournament taking home a Gold and Bronze respectively.

Great to see lads exploring and enjoying different sports although let's hope they keep the choke on the mat and not the pitch!

Both lads train with Flow State BJJ who will be kindly putting on a session for the team soon.
