KBOX Kickboxing Academy "Fun, friendly, family kickboxing. Grading & protected sparring. All ages, all abilities. Enh DBS, I Beginners are always welcome to all classes.

We can offer private taster sessions where necessary. We have a brand new venue on Eldon Street- a permanent dojo which we 've been building during lockdown 3. K-Box Kickboxing Academy teaches American (& Freestyle) kickboxing to anyone between the ages of 5 and 70. It's known to be a very friendly, community club with grading opportunities. xperience, DBS Enhanced clearance, St John's Ambulance First Aid Training and Safeguarding Children qualification. We have zero tolerance policies on bullying, racism, sexism and ageism, feel a duty to our students and to society to give belts only when they are well deserved and earned, and are careful to instil that the techniques demonstrated and practiced in class are never to be used in any other circumstance except when personal safety is at extreme risk. K-Box began in January 2009 as an additional class to another club and became independent in January 2016. We have been in various locations over the years, Keel Gym, St Mary's School, Honeywell Sports Village, and Novacity but moved into our own premises in 2021. We are associated with Martial Arts GB and The British Kickboxing Council .

Hi everyone, The Met Office and BBC weather are still offering a range of forecasts which all say it will snow somewhere between 5 and 9, and some heavily- so I am damned if I do and damned if I don't and it's disappointing in the first week back , but I have to think about everyone's safety, so I am reluctantly cancelling all tonight's classes to be on the safe side.

Hi everyone, Tomorrow (Saturday 20th ) is Live in Barnsley, so they will be closing Eldon Street and Regent St to traffic from early on. If you park in the Upper Seam (Courthouse) car park, access will be from Old Mill lane only.
We are open at 10.30 for the kids' class and 12.10 for the adult class as usual.
Parking may be tricker than usual so we are prepared for late arrivals. Call me if you will be one of them please.

Absolutely brilliant turn out tonight in both kids and adult classes, despite the hot dojo. Thank you everyone. There were a couple of children who came without a drink...please remember its vitally important to bring water to classes.
