The Dance Depot was founded 1992 in Cudworth by Eleanor Claire, in 2002 the school then relocated to Shafton, in 2021 we moved to Grimethorpe and then in 2023 we merged with Take Two The
atre school to become Take 2 Dance Depot now based in Birdwell. The school offers a wide variety of classes for children and adults covering dance and fitness. Classes are available for children and adults that are just looking to get involved in a hobby for fun and fitness as well as those who are looking to get involved in Dance and take IDTA Examinations and Teaching Qualifications. Children showing a strong interest and potential are also encouraged to take part in dance festivals and competitions. Take 2 Dance Depot holds an annual Presentation Evening and showcase in which everyone from the school is invited to take part, this a wonderful event which the children thoroughly enjoy, it is a chance for the children to perform on stage in a professional environment, for family and friends to see all their hard work and progress as well as receiving examination awards they have achieved throughout the year. This is held in our very own theatre known as The Academy Theatre. There are many benefits to becoming part of Take 2 Dance Depot, it's a school where children are encouraged regardless of their ability, where children are able to have fun and be creative in a safe environment, where confidence is given a boost and where wonderful friendships are formed.
