Rather than the usual “Dump” seeing as is I’m gonna share 11 times I made myself proud this week 🥰
The last couple of months have been pretty w**k
Even before losing Herc, I was struggling.
I changed my anxiety medication - which if you’ve never done it you’ll not appreciate how s**tty that process is
Herc was ill for a while before we eventually lost him - I’ve genuinely lost count of the amount of times I had him at the vets
I then had some loser keyboard warrior make a fake account to try and stir up some s**t from 20 years ago 😆 Good effort btw ✌🏼
Then the same week we lost Herc we got news of a terminal illness in the family
I’ve found it hard to do the most basic of tasks, but this week I felt like I turned a bit of a corner and I wanted to recognise that when you’ve been in the pits, the smallest steps are the biggest victories 🫶🏼
I started Monday with clearing out my wardrobe - found this bezzler of a shirt from Helmut Lang - PJ shorts are optional 🫣
Tuesday I got out for some sun & steps - leaving the house has been a real struggle!
I actually cooked myself a meal - again nothing groundbreaking but I’ve been struggling to eat & certainly have had no desire to cook.
Actually making time to cook myself a decent meal felt like a milestone
After over 2 weeks off the gym I got myself back in & have managed to hold on to at least a bit of the photoshoot shape 🙌🏽
I’ve been in a catch 22 of struggling to work from home because it’s so quiet and lonely without Herc & then struggling to leave the house because I’m so anxious 🫠
So getting to a coffee shop to do some work felt massive
I also spent time with some of my absolute faves this week - you know they’re real ones when you spend so much time gassing you don’t even think about telling socials you were together
Felt a bit of momentum coming back with the business
I really tried to find the sunshine wherever I could this week 🌻
…I just so happened to find it in the private Personal Shopping area of Selfridges 😬😬
& then healed myself with holy water
Rounded the week off by selling out of spots on my summer sale 8 week offer 🥹
