🌟 YORKSHIRE’S GOT TALENT STRIKES AGAIN! 🌟

What a brilliant story for Louis, who has trained with our Elite Academy for several years alongside playing grassroots football for Dearne & District.

We put Louis forward to the Barnsley FC Development Centre, and he also earned an opportunity with Sheffield United’s ETC. His progress during this time was incredible.

Although Louis couldn’t attend the Yorkshire’s Got Talent sessions, he was able to play in our showcase match at Oakwell against Barnsley FC Academy. We had already recommended him, so the Academy staff knew he was one to watch and Louis didn’t disappoint! 🔥

Following that performance, Scott, the Head of Foundation Phase, made his feelings about Louis’s potential very clear. Louis was offered an eight-week trial, and we’re delighted that he has now officially signed! ✍️🔴⚪️

This is fantastic news for Louis, his family, Dearne & District and everyone at our Elite Academy who has championed him throughout his journey. He thoroughly deserves this opportunity.

A massive thank you to Owen and our coaching team for their continued hard work. Once again, our Elite Academy and Yorkshire’s Got Talent have helped create a genuine pathway into a professional academy.

BD LOVE LIFE ELITE ACADEMY — IDP SPECIALIST CAMP WAKEFIELD

Take your game to the next level with three days of high-intensity, position-specific football coaching.

Players will work in small, specialist groups focusing on:

⚽ Strikers
⚽ Midfielders
⚽ Defenders

Small-group coaching allows every player to receive more individual attention, detailed feedback and position-specific development.

All our coaches are UEFA B Licence-qualified professional academy coaches who work within Barnsley FC Academy. They bring invaluable experience, knowledge and expertise to help every player develop.

The camp is led by Owen Birkett Josiah Dyer, Cody Collins and Love Life Elite Academy founder Bruce Dyer — Britain’s first teenage £1 million footballer, former England Under-21 international and current Manchester United scout.

Our sessions are designed to improve each player’s technical ability, positional understanding, confidence and overall performance within a challenging, encouraging and professional elite-development environment.

🌟 YORKSHIRE’S GOT TALENT STRIKES AGAIN! 🌟

What an incredible three-year journey for Finn! After taking part in two Yorkshire’s Got Talent competitions, he was invited to train in sessions led by a Barnsley FC Academy coach and impressed through his consistency, fitness, footballing ability and patience with the process.

Many of Finn’s friends signed for academies at younger ages while he kept working and waiting for his opportunity. Now, his time has come! 🔴⚪️

If Finn reaches his predicted height and physical development, alongside his undoubted ability, he could become an outstanding player. We’re incredibly excited to see what the future holds!

⚽ YORKSHIRE DERBY DAY ⚽

It didn’t go quite as planned for our Grimethorpe LLUK Under-11s. We started shakily and conceded some early goals during the first third.

However, massive respect to the players for their attitude, work ethic and determination throughout the final two thirds. The boys worked incredibly hard against a very good Yorkshire Premier Sports team and never stopped trying to fight their way back into the game. 👏🏽🖤💛

We can’t change the past, but we can learn from it and change the present and the future.

A massive thank you to all our parents for their continued support and to Coach Jack for his hard work.

Heads up, boys roll on next week as we go again in the JPL! 💪🏽⚽

This morning our U10’s travelled to Chesterfield to take on Spire Rangers with a break in JPL fixtures.

With a number of players missing, the boys still turned out a fabulous footballing performance. Keeping a clean sheet and scoring three brilliantly taken goals.

Team work and spirit was brilliant against a very strong Spire Rangers side. Excellent preparation for a return to the JPL next Saturday against Palmer School of Excellence.

Player of the Match - Barney - Playing in slightly unfamiliar territory at centre back. Won all his duels, cleared his lines superbly and was vital in keeping a clean sheet for the team.

Today our under 12’s started the new season off at home to Riccall United Reds.

We welcome our new players Louis, Efosa, Reuben and Joe A to the team ⚽️ all 4 have settled straight in.

Riccall gave us a competitive game and every one of the team put in hard work and worked well together as a team. As a result of this we came away with a much deserved win.

Goals today from Jack, Reuben and Zac ⚽️

Today MOTM was Louis for his composure and winning most of his duals as well as brilliant communication with his team mates and encouraging them when he wasn’t on the pitch. Well done 👏

Next week we travel away to Pontefract collieries whites - where we hope our winning streak continues 💛🖤
