Caulfield FC Caulfield FC was set up in memory of Edward Caulfield and play in the Barnsley Premier League.

Our preseason training will begin on Thursday 25th of June at 7pm at the Hillies fields in Wombwell up the road from the Lundhill Tavern pub.

All players old and new welcome.

Today could have been a very different day given the results across the board and in the first 20 minutes we made it difficult for ourselves going 1-0 to a cheap goal.

From there on it it was really one way traffic and the lads kept there composure, Jordan Good set us on our way with the first a lob from the edge of the box which the keeper tried to shut down and the second was excellent work from Kieran Bradley down the left who again unselfishly squared to Jordan to tap home from close range.

2nd half we continued to probe the Williams bar back 4 and find a gap, Kieran Bradley found himself in the box and finished extremely wel from close range.

Mom - both Goalscorers, excellent display from both of them.

A mid table finish concludes our season with numerous semi finals and a final at oakwell, preparations are well underway for next season as we look to push even further on all fronts. If you want to play for a club with fantastic facilities and good crack then look no further than caulfield fc.

Massive win for the lads Sunday as they beat the Cottage 4-1. Dec Cavnor and Kieran Bradley had put us 2-0 up before Callum Walton pulled one back for the cottage just before the break.

Chances at either end but Riley Jepson was brought down in the box, Jordan Good then Cooly finished from the spot.

Kieran Bradley then went running through with minutes to spare and unselfishly squared the ball to Riley Jepson to tap in to make it 4.

The lads have done it!! Oakwell cup final booked in!!

Wombwell got reduced to 10 midway through the first half when Jordan Beardsley got sent his marching orders. Liam Owen then scored from the resulting free kick at the very edge of the Wombwell box. Danny Youel then put us 2-0 with a smart finish having already had one ruled out for offside.

Dan Walsh then scored a great goal to make it 3-0. Wombwell pulled a goal back with only minutes to spare.

Mom - Jordan Good, proper captains performance from goody. Won his battles and controlled the tempo of the game.

Roll on next Wednesday when we face either Athersley Rec or the cottage on the hallowed Oakwell turf.
