With the 25/26 season finally drawing to a close, we can honestly say it’s been a brilliant one for this group – without doubt one of the most enjoyable yet!
From the very start, our new players have seamlessly integrated into the team which has been fantastic to see and together this group has built some really strong bonds. Most importantly, every single player has been an absolute pleasure to coach and be around this season. Their attitude, effort and willingness to learn week in, week out has been outstanding. They’ve supported each other, worked hard for one another, and represented the team brilliantly – something we’re incredibly proud of.
This season also brought a step up to a more consistent and stronger standard of football, and the boys have risen to that challenge superbly. Throughout it all, we’ve stayed true to our principles – encouraging brave possession based football, giving players the opportunity to develop across multiple positions, and focusing as much on development as results. The progress each player has made has been fantastic to watch.
