A year ago this group set themselves some big goals.

A season later, they’ve become League & Cup Champions.

As we move from U14s into U15s football, we’re looking to add a couple of players to an already successful squad for the 2026/27 season.

We’re specifically looking for a striker and a midfielder who not only love football but will fit into the culture we’ve built as a team.

The trophies are great, but what we’re most proud of is the environment around this group. The friendships, the support, the hard work and the memories made along the way.

If you’re looking for a club where players are challenged, supported and genuinely enjoy being part of the journey, we’d love to hear from you.

Feeling the buzz
Knowing they’d earned this moment

A season full of hard work sacrifice and belief leading to the stage where they officially became champions 🏆

Watching them walk up there together knowing exactly what they’d achieved was something special

Beyond proud of every single one of them
The boys the coaches and every parent cheering them on all season long 🖤

Today our boys didn’t just win a cup final — they completed a season that will live forever in Magpies history. The first team ever to win the league, win the cup and do it all unbeaten. Week after week they turned up for each other, fought for the badge and showed what real teamwork, character and belief looks like.

This group has given us moments we’ll never forget. The late winners, the celebrations, the hard battles and the pride of watching a team that never stopped believing in themselves. To finish the season undefeated is special, but to do it while bringing home both trophies makes this team truly legendary.

Every single player has played their part in something incredible, and the support from the sidelines all season has meant everything. Parents, families, coaches and supporters have been there through every step of this journey, and today belongs to all of you too.

These boys have set the standard and written their names into club history forever as the ultimate Magpies team.

What a season 🥲

Here’s your managers post match report from our last league game of the season! And as always your Magpies of the hour, your Men Of The Match! ⚽️🖤

A little later than usual ( sorry )

Whiston 0 magpies 3
OFFICIALLY INVINCIBLE IN H DIVISION 25/26
LEAGUE CHAMPIONS ⚽️🖤🤍🖤🤍

12.00 kick off on an adult pitch with adult nets had us all feeling a little wobbly
However the lads warmed up as they intended to play and went out with one mission -
A win …..3 points
To keep their undefeated run in the league

Whiston Kick off and it didn’t take the boys long to get hold of the ball on what initially looked like a good pitch it was soon realised that it was in fact really dry and quite bobbly and not ideal for how our lads play their football with ball at feet and intricate passes
However they just got on with it a few chances went begging but it didn’t take long to take the lead just 6 mins in Leon fired right into the bottom corner to make it 0-1 ⚽️ magpies !
Whiston had one shot on goal in the first half that Ollie tipped onto the crossbar to keep the ball out
Whiston threatened with the over the top ball but were soon found out by another solid defensive line
Half time 0-1 ⚽️

Out for the 2nd half and just 11 mins played , JJ pops up to in the right place at the right time to fire home and make it 0-2⚽️⚽️ magpies
We seemed to struggle getting the ball down at points in the 2nd half but Whiston had nothing , even breaking the back line their striker couldn’t capitalise and hit the ball high and wide .
The lads persisted not quite finished yet Aiden m , JJ , Thomas mc and Leon all had chances however it was in min 69 that Troy fired a ball straight into the top corner to make it 0-3 ⚽️⚽️⚽️
Cheered on by his team mates even the Whiston manager conceded that you don’t stop those goals going in
It was a cracker !
And that’s how it finished
To seal the league for the year

Never stopped running and despite being targeted by one of whistons best players he kept his nerve and sealed his lips lol determined performance from Troy and a beauty of a goal to take his seasons tally to …….. 17 goals

Ken’s choice - Aidan Y
Strong as ever in defence he bossed the back line keeping his team mates organised
Up for corners and always on hand to make a last ditch tackle league H strikers must be fed up of seeing his face
Well done Aidan 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Special mentions this week to Aiden m who ran his blood to water a was generally a right pain in the bottom to the Whiston defence unlucky not to get his name on the scoresheet but represented his team well 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
And to max, played well on the wing got himself forward to attack and back to help defend also unlucky not to be on the scoresheet

Training weds up at Kirk balk as usual
And training Friday at St Peter’s
A bit of team building and prep for Sundays cup final

CHAMPIONS. UNDEFEATED. 🏆

Our Rooney lead the boys out for their final league game of the season, leading us to VICTORY!

Every tackle. Every run. Every single drop of effort… for this.
A season we’ll never forget — written together, fought for together.

But history isn’t given… it’s earned.

One final battle to go.
One more win… and we etch our names forever.

Something a little different for this weeks results. We’d love to show you a little on how we celebrate together as one football family. And as you can see. We have one heck of a massive family!! 😍

Got to start with …….

WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS !!
League H 25/26 champions !

Dodworth , runners up behind us were never going to make it easy for us
They set out today to spoil our promotion party
The Dodworth lads turned up to St Peter’s organised, skilful and determined to be the first team in 25/26 to take 3 points from us !

They set out with their intention win the game and in min 2 they scored
I got nervous Ken said calm down we’ve got this and boy did we !
Troy levelled the score in min 4 to make the score 1-1 ⚽️
Followed in min 21 with a goal from Aiden m from a beautiful ball played through by Rooney 2-1 ⚽️⚽️
And then a beautiful ball played into the box saw JJ …. HEAD the ball to rattle the net and take the score to 3-1 ⚽️⚽️⚽️
The Dodworth lads kept going they never let their heads go down and they’ve got some good players and we got a couple of scares before half time however an organised defence and our safe hands Ollie kept them out

Out for the 2nd half after a chat with the boys
We advised them that Dodworth would now step it up a gear
Go out as if it’s 0-0 and win the half

The boys played some beautiful football today
Corners going into the box and the self organisation of the boys at those corners saw a Dodworth defender unfortunately turn the ball into his own net 4-1 ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️
The Dodworth lads were unrelenting at times and seemed to have a game plan and they stuck to it almost breaking our back line a couple of times however the defence and Ollie were more than up to it
We continued to threaten the Dodworth net and their keeper had a busy day
Thomas s came really close hitting the bar
And in the 65th min a short pass by Thomas s into the box saw JJ net his 2nd of the day and take the score to 5-1 ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️
And that’s how it finished!

As I said back at the market The scoreline didn’t reflect the game the Dodworth lads played today it seemed a lot closer and they kept going
Our boys were just more determined to keep their undefeated run intact and today did it in style.

We switched Thomas to left back 10 mind into the game to shore up the defence and keep that little whippet of a Dodworth winger out and he stood tall today he dealt with the ball coming through got himself forward to assist in goals
Was confident in himself today and his corners were 🔥 well done Thomas 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Ken’s choice -
Oliver , let’s be honest Oliver hasn’t had much to do this season having conceded only 14 goals in the league this season
However today he was busy and when he wasn’t busy his communication with his defenders was the best we’ve heard his kicks out were outstanding getting his players up the field and into the attacking areas
Almost bagged himself another assist
Great game
