๐ฃ Barnoldswick Town U11s Start the Season with a Bang! ๐
Before kick off, the boys selected their leadership team for the season, with Stan voted Club Captain and Henry named Vice Captain. Congratulations to both players on a fantastic achievement and a well deserved recognition from their teammates.

Onto the footballโฆ
The Yellows kicked off the new campaign with an excellent win against Accrington Womenโs U11s in a fixture that was new territory for the team.
A cagey first half saw Oscar open the scoring with a spinning effort that somehow found its way over the line, but credit to Accrington who battled hard to level things before the break.
Whatever was said in Coach Alโs animated half time team talk certainly worked! ๐
The second half belonged to Barlick.
๐ฅ Max was relentless all game, pressing, probing and bagging himself a superb hat-trick.
โก Isaac was his usual fearless self, driving at defenders and grabbing a deserved goal, unlucky not to get more.
๐ช Stan and Joshua worked tirelessly in midfield to break up attacks, while Joeโs endless running caused problems all afternoon.
๐งฑ Bobs, Myles and Arlo were rock solid at the back, with Henry putting in challenges that wonโt be forgotten in a hurry!
๐ฐ Ellis once again earned his unofficial โDuracell Bunnyโ award, rounding off the scoring with a well-taken goal.
๐งค William commanded his area brilliantly and made sure the Yellows stayed focused whenever called upon.

A classy all round performance, topped off with a goal and an assist.
The lads played for each other, worked hard and showed exactly what this team is all about. If not for an outstanding display from the Accrington goalkeeper, the scoreline could easily have reached double figures!
A fantastic start to the season.
