💙A massive day for our U11s Yesterday, bringing home the trophy 🏆💛!!!

After a hard fought battle in the final, our team smashed it on penalties, with lots of hands up for who would take the winning strike, it was a real team win yesterday with 110% from everyone in every single game.

We wish them luck in their second Tournament of the weekend today!! What a commitment, thank you parents for giving up your whole weekend 💙💛

💛🌍The True Spirit of Football 🌍💙

We are incredibly proud to share something truly special from our amazing club community.

Thanks to the kindness, generosity and teamwork of our coaches, players and parents - Barnoldswick Town Juniors FC has come together to send pre loved football kits and equipment all the way to children in the Kuwinda slums in Kenya 🇰🇪

A beautiful message from Amy and Joe, (U8 Yellows) says it all:

“I just wanted to say a huge thank you to all of the coaches that helped to collect in the football kits and boots for us to send to the children that we met in Kuwinda slums in Kenya.
The incredible generosity of the club, coaches and the parents is just another reminder of the fantastic community that is Barnoldswick Town Juniors.”

Together, we’ve achieved something incredible:

👟 15 pairs of trainers
🧥 10 coats
👕 Lots of football kits
⚽️ Plus balls, bibs, water bottles, goalie gloves, and coach kits

And on top of that…

Joe has personally put together 30 kit bags filled with kits and goodies ready to make a difference 🇰🇪⚽️

This is what grassroots football is all about - not just developing players, but creating a community that cares, supports, and gives back ❤️

We can’t wait to see the impact these donations will have when they arrive in Kuwinda. The smiles they’ll bring will mean everything 🥹

📣 Barnoldswick Town FC U8 Blues Tournament Weekender! 💛💙

A fantastic weekend for our U8 Blues at the Colne FC Tournament ⚽🏆

After a slow start, the boys showed great character and determination. Finishing 3rd in their group against some very strong opposition, but as the tournament went on, they found form at exactly the right time.

The lads went on to win the remaining group games and then battled through the semi final before reaching the final.

After a tense match, they held their nerve to win on penalties, scoring all 3 spot kicks! 👏

We are proud of every single player. They never stopped working, gave everything for the team, and were rewarded with a well deserved trophy.

A massive shoutout to Burnley United and Colne FC. The support and encouragement they showed our lads throughout the tournament was incredible and greatly appreciated.

Well done, boys! 💙⚽🏆

📣 Barnoldswick Town Juniors U10s - from Group Stage Battlers to Tournament Finalists 💙💛

Our U10s well and truly announced themselves on the tournament stage at Mellor on Saturday!

Drawn in a tough Group A, the boys faced strong opposition from the very first whistle. With the Barlick faithfuls out in force, the atmosphere was buzzing before a ball had even been kicked!

The tournament started with a tense opener where a disciplined defensive display and battling midfield performance laid the foundations for a fantastic lobbed finish from Joe to secure victory.

The second game provided a valuable lesson in tournament football. Despite a tireless effort from the whole team, with outstanding defensive work from Henry, Harry, Myles and Bobs, and relentless running from Ellis and Joshua, Town came up just short. However, it proved to be the spark the boys needed.
From there, the mighty Barlick juggernaut got rolling! A superb team performance against Mellor saw another rock solid defensive display, with Henry, Arlo and Myles standing firm at the back while Stan's tireless work disrupted the opposition throughout. Joe produced two excellent goals as Town took another big step forward.

Confidence growing, Barlick carried that momentum into the next match. Brilliant team play created chances, with Joe turning provider and Isaac grabbing his first ever tournament goal before adding two more to complete a memorable hat trick!!! Excellent defensive work ensured Town secured the result they needed.

With other results going their way, Barnoldswick Town topped their group and found themselves in uncharted territory...

🏆 WE'RE IN THE FINAL! 🏆

The final against Glennside was a tense affair, packed with determination and defensive quality. Chances were limited, but William produced a string of outstanding saves to keep Town firmly in the contest. The boys showed incredible character, resilience and composure throughout, taking the game all the way to a penalty shootout.

Unfortunately, luck wasn't quite on Barlick's side in the shootout, and the tournament ended in heartbreak. But what an achievement it had been.

Congratulations to Glennside on their victory, but Barnoldswick Town U10s can be immensely proud of everything they achieved. Their teamwork, support for one another and relentless work ethic have taken them to new heights this season and provide fantastic foundations for the future.

The quality coaching is reflected in the way this team plays with togetherness, encouragement and enjoyment at the heart of everything they do. Add to that the unwavering support of the parents, whatever the weather, and you have something truly special.

As the U10s now become U11s, this is a team and a club with an exciting future ahead.

📣 Barnoldswick Town Juniors U9 Yellows Tournament Day!! 🏆💛

What a turnaround and what a day for the boys!

After a tough start with defeat against a strong Soccer HQ Selects side, the team showed incredible character to bounce back and grow into the tournament.

Game two vs Colne saw us dominate for long periods, but despite our efforts, we couldn’t find the net and were punished by a single chance.

In our third game, we finally got the reward our performances deserved, with goals from George and Taylor securing a win against Trawden Celtic.

A narrow defeat followed against Brierfield Celtic Panthers, a game very similar to the Colne match, where one chance proved decisive. Our final group game against a very strong Lostock side was one sided, but the boys kept battling to the end.

Finishing 5th in the group, we moved into the Shield semi final against Wilpshire. It was a tight game, but a moment of individual brilliance from George saw us through to the final.

And what a final it was.

Back against Trawden Celtic, the boys produced their best performance of the day. Dominant, confident, and full of quality. Goals from George and Jack secured a brilliant victory and the Shield! 🏆

Coach Michael was proud of the boys yesterday, they dug in, kept improving, and never gave up. They showed exactly what BTJFC is all about: resilience, teamwork, and determination.

A big thank you to Colne Juniors for hosting a fantastic tournament. We’re absolutely delighted to come away with the shield, and seeing the joy and excitement from the boys at the final whistle made it all worthwhile.

They are a credit to the club 💙💛
