So last week Barney travelled to Hartlepool and came away with all 5 points in a fantastic 36–15 win 💪⚫.

Now the lads are back at home, this time facing Houghton Le Spring — the team who were promoted alongside us.

If the past meetings between these two are anything to go by, we’re in for a cracking game 🔥. Both sides play an exciting, fast brand of rugby that supporters love, so get yourself down on Saturday and enjoy what should be a brilliant afternoon 🏉⚫.

And don’t forget — The Tuk In will be there serving gorgeous hot and cold refreshments ☕🍔🥤, perfect for keeping you fuelled while you cheer the boys on.

After a fantastic 35–20 win over Gateshead last week, Barney are back on their travels — this time away to Hartlepool, who knocked us out in last year’s cup semi‑final.

With storms rolling across the North East, let’s hope it’s Barney who strike first and strike hardest. The lads are in great form and ready to bring home another WIN.

Safe travels to everyone heading over — let’s get behind the boys.

🏉 DOUBLE THE RUGBY THIS SATURDAY! 🏉

⚫⚪ 1ST XV – BACK AT THE DEMESNES!

Barney are back on home turf this Saturday as we welcome Gateshead to The Demesnes, looking to bounce back and return to winning ways! 💪

Another tough encounter awaits, but Barney know how important it is to make home advantage count and get some valuable league points on the board.

📣 We need the Barney faithful out in force! Bring the noise, get behind the lads and help make The Demesnes a fortress once again!

⚫⚪ 2ND XV – ON THE ROAD AGAIN!

Meanwhile, our 2nd XV are back on their travels as they head to Hartlepool Rovers, determined to get the result their efforts deserve.

The lads were desperately unlucky last time out, losing an incredible 52-51 thriller after leading for almost the entire game. A heartbreaking result, but plenty of positives to take from a performance full of effort and attacking rugby.

They’ll be looking to put that disappointment behind them and go one better this Saturday! 💪

🍔🌭 THE TUK IN IS BACK!

For those heading to The Demesnes, the excellent Tuk In will be pitch-side serving up their fantastic hot food and refreshments throughout the afternoon.

Great rugby, great food and a great atmosphere — what more could you want from a Saturday afternoon?

Whether you’re cheering on the 1sts at home or making the trip to Hartlepool to support the 2nds, let’s get behind both teams and help bring home two big wins!

⚫⚪ COME ON BARNEY! ⚫⚪

🏉 DERBY DAY – ON THE ROAD AGAIN! 🏉

After a tough encounter against Durham University last weekend, Barney are back on the road this Saturday as we make the short trip to face local rivals Bishop Auckland! 🔥

Local derbies are never short of passion, and this one promises to be no different! Expect a fiercely contested battle, with both sides going at it from the very first whistle. 💪

Barney will be looking to bounce back and get back to winning ways, but we know it won’t be easy on Bishop’s home turf!

📣 LET’S BRING THE BARNEY NOISE TO BISHOP!

We need our fantastic travelling support out in force, making plenty of noise and turning a hostile away ground into a sea of Barney support!

Big tackles, big passion, local bragging rights – let’s get behind the lads! 💙🏉
