Well played to the Essex Ladies 50s. Despite a 4–1 defeat to Surrey, there were plenty of positives to take away. The team showed great teamwork, played some excellent tennis, and gave tremendous effort from start to finish. A fantastic experience for us all to play at the Wimbledon Club. 🎾👏

The LTA Awards, presented by Lexus, shine a spotlight on the outstanding achievements and contributions of individuals and organisations across Great Britain.

First launched in 2015 by former LTA president Cathie Sabin OBE, these awards celebrate the passion, dedication, and hard work of some of the 20,000 volunteers, coaches, clubs, parks and officials who give their time to support and grow tennis and padel across the country.

The awards recognise the people who are making a real difference in their communities and offer an opportunity to say thank you to those inspiring others to get involved, supporting their local clubs, and helping create welcoming, accessible opportunities for everyone to play

Last year nominations in Essex were our highest yet! Let’s raise the bar again this year! Nominations are now open closing 30 November.
