It’s hard to believe, but today marks the 1st Anniversary of Banwell Beacons! 🥳 Over the past year, we've built memories, friendships, and a thriving community. Thank you to every member who has been a part of this incredible journey.

From our first meeting to our most recent event, we’ve grown together in ways we never imagined. We’ve faced challenges, celebrated victories, and made lasting connections along the way. None of this would have been possible without the dedication, passion, and enthusiasm of each and every one of you.

Let’s continue to make this next year even more unforgettable! With our first ever Beacons summer tournament!

⚽️ Pan-disability football ⚽️

On Sunday, Free To Be Support and the Banwell Beacons played their second ever round of games against Bristol Rovers Ability. The Beacons did themselves proud playing each game with a smile on their face and bagging a few goals and wins to boot. ⚽️

Big thank you to Bristol Rovers Ability and all associated for the games and for their hospitality, an amazing group of people ❤️

Anyone who would like to take part with our Beacons, sessions are every Thursday morning 10:30-11:30 at Hutton Moor and are completely free

📣 Pan-disability adult football training

Training continues tomorrow for our adults on the 4G at Hutton Moor.

Start time of 10.30am for an hour.

We will be keeping an eye on the weather as we wish to keep training safe for all concerned. If it does get cancelled for poor weather, we will post on here tomorrow morning.

Our training is extremely popular and is loved by everyone who attends.

Our continued thanks go to Free To Be Support for their excellent training sessions.

⚽️⚽️ Pan-Disability Junior Football⚽️⚽️

Our free football training for children aged between five and sixteen years old, start their winter training programme tonight (bye by summer 👋).

They will now be training at Winterstoke 100 Academy, on the 4G pitch (next to The Landing Light pub). starting at 6pm until 6.50pm.

Five weeks until our annual fireworks and bonfire night!

We would love to see you kick off the firework season with us here at Banwell FC on Saturday 26th October at our home grounds.

Gates open at 4pm with the bonfire being lit at 7pm.

Hot food, hot drinks, spooky sweets, light up wands and mostly importantly, a bar will be available all evening. Come and have a mulled wine with us whilst you watch the most amazing firework display, put on as usual, by Sky Rascal Displays.

Monday is training day for our children aged between 5 and 16 for football training.

Our coaches are looking forward to seeing the children on the main pitch at Banwell FC this evening, starting from 5pm for an hour.
