Stanmore CC were blown away for 49 runs in 12.2 overs by the superb pace bowling of Faiz Ur Riaz who took 8 for 19 in 6.2 overs. YRG Eagles won by 154 runs

The Eagles played their first Division 1 game this Saturday (having won the league last season), against Wimbledon Village CC.

The Eagles bowled out WVCC for 131 in 35.1 Overs, and reached the total comprehensively in 19.5 overs, losing 5 wickets (due to the slogging standards of our upper order)!

Saghar Tanoli (3 wickets), Captain Younus AlGohar (2 wickets), Faisal Tanoli (2 wickets), Faiz ur Riaz (1 wicket) and Umar Shah (1 wicket) all contributed brilliantly.

Asim Bhatti (26 runs - opening the order), Atif Gohar (20 runs), Umar Shah (32 runs off 13 balls!) and Saghar Tanoli (32 runs not out) all chipped in with fast run rates!

YRG Eagles beat league rivals Ottershaw CC by 46 runs, having set a target of 222 and bowling Ottershaw CC out for 176.

Along with the great win, Faisal Tanoli and Faiz ur Riaz both reached a milestone of 100 wickets for the club in 2 years.

Congratulations to them as team captain Younus AlGohar awards them with their well deserved trophies!

YRG Eagles break league and team record for highest run aggregate of 677 (previously 633 since 2008) after successfully chasing a score of 338 runs in 41 Overs with 4 overs to spare, against Ham & Petersham Cricket Club.

Today, the YRG Eagles CC break both club and league history for highest-run chased.

Playing Ham & Petersham away at their home-ground, the team won the toss and chose to bat.

Ham & Petersham scored 338 from 45 Overs, losing 7 wickets. Ahmed Mahbub scored 135 from 81 balls.

Having lost 2 early wickets to a low bounce, the Eagles had a slow-start, going down to 98-4. YRG Eagles then had a 5th wicket partnership of 237 between Atif Gohar and Faisal Tanoli.

Atif Gohar played an epic innings of 137* (not out) from 89 balls, 19 fours and 3 sixes; Faisal Tanoli helped build and execute an innings with 111 from 63 balls, 12 fours and 4 sixes.

The YRG Eagles have beaten Woking & Horsell CC today by 146 runs.

A stroke of genius and a show of blitz by Saghar Tanoli (72 runs) and Asif Gohar (59 runs) and frequent contribution, the Eagles put up a total of 281 and bowled out the opponents for a mere 135.
