The club is now open for training Mon wed Fri from Wednesday night training is back to normal times for all sessions. Juniors 6pm to 6.45 seniors 6.45 to 8pm.

NORTH DOWN BOXING CLUB - ANNOUNCEMENT 🥊

We are immensely proud of our own Garyn McAllister!

Our Commonwealth Games Bronze Medallist and reigning Irish National U23 Champion (2025) returned to the National Stadium this weekend to defend his title at the Irish National U23 Championships.

Garyn, representing North Down BC, boxed superbly and powered his way into the Final once again.

In the semi-final he sustained a hand injury in Round 2, but showed incredible heart and champion mentality, boxing brilliantly to win the bout.

Following a medical assessment, the coaching team made the extremely difficult decision to withdraw him from the Final. The health and long-term future of our athletes will always come first, and we could not risk a more serious injury.

Garyn finishes as National U23 Finalist 2026 - National U23 Champion 2025. A true champion in every sense.

Rest up and recover, Champ! The whole club is behind you. You will come back stronger! 👊

Everyone at North Down Boxing Club is incredibly proud of Garyn Mcallister on his outstanding achievement of winning a bronze medal for Northern Ireland at Commonwealth Games Northern Ireland

Garyn’s dedication, hard work, discipline, and commitment have been an inspiration to everyone in our club. To represent Northern Ireland on the Commonwealth stage and return home with a medal is a remarkable accomplishment and one that reflects years of hard work and determination.

Garyn Mcallister fights today in his semi final to upgrade his bronze to Silver.We will have the big screen up in the club for anyone that wants to come along and watch his bout @ 4.30.
