Leading the offence to a dominant 39–0 win, Jesse delivered an outstanding performance at QB. Calm, composed, and in control from start to finish.
A consistent leader for the offence all season, he’s put in the work week in, week out — and it shows on game day. His effort, preparation, and leadership continue to set the standard.
Fully deserved.

To go from learning the sport at the start of the year, to gameday captain in their first scrimmage against Lancaster and then to top it off with an Defensive MVP performance in our first Varsity win since 2019 is enough for people to realise how far Dewi could go in the sport. I can’t wait to see what he can do next year.

In his first season in the game, Shiv has been putting in the work — attending every film session and working hard on the field to keep improving.
On Saturday, he gave it his all at center, stepping up and delivering a huge performance.

Having only started around the christmas period, Sonny has been brilliant. Sonny’s performance on defense and special teams was a great boost for the entire team. His work ethic and mentality on the field was contagious and played a crucial part in the big win on Saturday.

Er mai dim ond o gwmpas cyfnod y Nadolig y dechreuodd, mae Sonny wedi bod yn wych. Roedd perfformiad Sonny ar amddiffyn a special teams yn hwb mawr i’r tîm cyfan. Roedd ei foeseg gwaith a’i feddylfryd ar y cae yn heintus, ac fe chwaraeodd ran allweddol yn y fuddugoliaeth fawr ddydd Sadwrn.

In what’s one of the most underrated but difficult and high pressure roles on the field, Bryn converted on extra points throughout the day with clinical precision. For him to handle the pressure with such professionalism in his first ever game was commendable.

Mewn un o’r rolau mwyaf tanbrisiedig ond anodd a llawn pwysau ar y cae, llwyddodd Bryn i drosi pwyntiau ychwanegol drwy gydol y dydd gyda manwl gywirdeb clinigol. Wrth ymdopi â’r pwysau gyda’r fath broffesiynoldeb yn ei gêm gyntaf erioed, yr oedd yn ganmoladwy.

🔰VARSITY RESULT🔰

Our first fixture of the season ended in an impressive 0-39 shutout historic win in Aberystwyth. This is our first varsity win in 8 years. It was a strong performance from start to finish. With the team scoring 3 touchdowns in the first half and scoring two more in the second half to kill off the game.

All the hard work put in throughout the season was clearly on display and were incredibly proud of every player involved. There’s still more to come from this squad and we’re looking forward to going again next year.

Mi wnaeth ein gêm gyntaf o’r flwyddyn gorffen gyda buddugoliaeth hanesyddol yn erbyn Aberystwyth gyda sgôr o 0-39. Y tro cyntaf i Fangor ennill gêm Varsity ers 2019. Roedd hi yn berfformiad cryf o’r cychwyn i’r diwedd. Gyda’r tîm yn sgorio 3 touchdown yn yr hanner cyntaf ac wedyn 2 arall yn yr ail hanner.

Gyd o’r gwaith caled trwy’r flwyddyn wedi cael ei adlewyrchu ar y cae penwythnos diwethaf, mi ydan ni mor falch o’r chwaraewyr i gyd. Edrych ymlaen at flwyddyn nesaf.
