Great day today with the Adult/Junior competition in memory of our dear friend and member Jonny Packham. We had the pleasure of Jonny’s parents Eileen and Wilbur to present the prizes. Well done everyone and a huge thank you to Mervyn for organising and all helpers.

Last night we had the final Thursday night competition of the summer with over 90 players taking part throughout the season.

HBGC Past Captains day . Sixteen past captains competed for the Reid cup and Jean Blair cup on a beautiful afternoon . The winners for nine holes was Mary Field, runner up Mary Gregg. Winner of Reid cup for 18 holes was Barbara Edwards with a bb9 than Irene Aston .

Congratulations to everyone who participated in our 2026 Captain's Prize for Juniors competitions. Winner of 18 hole competitions Div 1 William Meharg, Div 2 Joshua Woodward. Runners up Noah McCracken & Grace Sheilds. To Flynn Rossetto who won the 9 hole competition and also the winners of the Short 9 and Short 4 competitions. Thank you to Mervyn Davison (Junior Convenor) and Catherine Gallagher for organising and to all parents who support this important part of our Club.
