We are passionate about providing people with quality experiences and believe the outdoors should offer opportunities for all while respecting the environment, local communities and the beautiful areas that we live and work in! Aim Higher is owned and managed by Stephen Jones, a qualified Summer and Winter Mountain Leader, Bushcraft Instructor and Rock Climbing Instructor. All staff working for the company are experienced, qualified, insured and have a First Aid qualification. Anelu Aim Higher is an authorized provider under the Adventure Activity Licensing Authority (AALA), which allows us to offer adventurous activities to under 18s including schools, youth groups, scout groups and families. Our company name is bilingual - Anelu is the Welsh version combined with the English: Aim Higher. As a local company working in North Wales, all our staff are local and bilingual which demonstrates our readiness to invest in local people who in turn contribute to their local communities.

Our Story

Anelu Aim Higher is based in North Wales and provides a wide range of outdoor activities. We offer guided walks throughout summer and winter including on Snowdon, friendly instructional courses such as hill and mountain skills as well as the more technical activities like winter skills, indoor or outdoor climbing and abseiling. Bespoke and tailored activities are available such as family bush craft sessions, nature walks, wild camping experiences and historical walks.

Anelu Aim Higher is owned by Stephen Jones. Mountains have been a part of Stephen’s life for over 25 years. His experiences have led him from his native Ogwen Valley in Snowdonia to the Swiss and French Alps, other parts of Europe, Norway, and Central America as well as parts of the UK, both in summer and winter. A qualified Summer and Winter Mountain Leader as well as a former Royal Marine and Military Ski Instructor, Stephen and his team always strive to provide a fun, safe and enjoyable experience.
