Today we’d like to say a massive thank you to our fantastic greenkeeping team for all their hard work, dedication and commitment throughout the year.

The course doesn’t look after itself, and we’re incredibly lucky to have a team who work tirelessly behind the scenes to keep Carnalea looking its best.

We’re launching a new Carnalea Fantasy Football League for members for the 2026/27 season, with bragging rights and a bit more on the line.

Carnalea member Andy Hill from Dokoo Digital has kindly donated a £50 prize for the overall winner.

What a fantastic Captain’s Day we had yesterday! Despite the tough conditions, there was some brilliant golf on show (Stu confirmed the greens were running at 12.8 on the stimpmeter ⚡️😳)

A huge congratulations to Jonny Hill, who took the honours with an excellent 40 points! 👏🏆

A massive thank you to our Captain, Lindsay Cockcroft, for putting on such a brilliant day and making it one to remember! 👏

Gather your team and join us for one of the most enjoyable days on the golfing calendar!

Our Golf Scramble Day promises great golf, fantastic prizes, live entertainment throughout the day and plenty of fun – all while helping to raise funds to improve our course.

⛳️ New Ball Washers Installed ⛳️

We are delighted to announce that brand new ball washers have now been installed on the 9th, 11th and 15th holes at Carnalea GC.

These have been very kindly donated by our Captain, Lindsay Cockcroft, pictured with head greenkeeper Stuart Glover following the installation.

Lady Captain’s Day 2026 – Results ⛳️🏌🏼‍♀️

What a wonderful day we had for our Lady Captain’s Day yesterday!

The ladies were treated to fantastic weather and excellent playing conditions, making the most of the last spell of sunshine before today’s rain and winds arrived.

⛳️ LADY CAPTAIN’S DAY 2026 ⛳️

We would like to wish our Lady Captain, Mrs Joanne Williamson, every success on her Lady Captain’s Day today ✨

Lady Captain’s Day is always one of the highlights of the golfing calendar, bringing members together to enjoy great golf, friendship and celebration. We hope everyone taking part enjoys a fantastic day on the course, whether it be those taking part in the Lady Captains competition or the Gents 9 Hole Competition 🍀

Ladies taking part in the competition are invited to enjoy sandwiches with tea or coffee, available between 12:30pm and 2:30pm.

Following the golf, members and guests are warmly invited to continue the celebrations in the clubhouse, where Alibi will be providing live music from 9:00pm 🎶

Please join us in wishing Joanne every success and thanking her for her dedication and commitment to Carnalea Golf Club. We hope she, and everyone taking part, enjoys a wonderful Lady Captain’s Day 🤩
