When your memories make you sad.😢
I am just sitting in Victoria Square, as I have just left the cinema.
Years back I used to sing at Karaokes in hotels when I was away.
Francisco a friend of mine, ran the Karokes in many of the hotels around Alcudia and where he lived in Pollensa.
My Phillip has a great voice and he did a lot of Sinatra songs, big ballads but I always loved The Rose among some others.
I haven't heard it for a long time.
I have a habit of singing along to my fast music tracks in class..... especially when it's R&B and Disco, 80's and 90's....when we are doing our body conditioning classes.
A lot of the time I just carry on 😁 for the craic!
However, a couple of Monday evenings ago, I was singing along to one of the tracks and Rae one of my ladies, very kindly told me I should be in a choir, that I had a lovely voice🙏🏻
It was a wonderful, and unexpected compliment.🙏🏻
I did sing in the church choir and my school choir, but not for a long time now!
I thought about it after she said it, as I do love to sing and this brings me right back to the beginning of my post, because, there is a beautiful choir singing in the lobby of the Victoria Centre and what were they singing, yes The Rose 🌹 and it answered my question to myself, I couldn't join one as it's makes me to sad 😢
Certain music just brings my soul to its knees with grief, for all that has gone before, and for what lies ahead!
It's amazing how in the strangest situations and unexpected places you find the answers!🤷🏻
It's time for me to move along.
With love ❤️xx
