🚨 CATTLESKATE CARDS IS NOW LIVE! 🚨

After around 6 months of development, learning, testing, and refining, we're excited to announce that Cattleskate Cards is now available on Android through the Google Play Store!

As many of you know, our free skateboarding sessions through Cattleskate Academy CIC are often very close to full capacity. While we'll continue delivering as many sessions as possible, we wanted to create something different that could reach skaters and guardians beyond the session itself.

The goal was to build something unique to Cattleskate Academy. Something that helps skaters continue learning, progressing, and staying motivated even when they're not at the skatepark.

That's where Cattleskate Cards was born.

⏳ Things might seem a little slow just now at Cattleskate Academy CIC... and that's exactly what this slow-motion clip of our friend Dave reminded us of! πŸ›ΉπŸ˜„

Behind the scenes, we're continuing to work hard on the future of the project while we wait to hear back on grant funding applications. We've also had some really positive meetings with the Aberdeenshire team about the direction of the project and the best approach moving forward.

Since starting, we've now delivered over **600 free skateboard coaching slots** and provided countless opportunities for local young people to get involved in skateboarding. A major priority for us is improving and securing the future of the space that so many people in Banff know and love.

Sometimes that means slowing down, working through the details, having the right conversations, and making sure we take the best possible route forward. Progress isn't always measured by what's visible day to day, but by the foundations being built behind the scenes.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support us, attend sessions, share our posts, donate equipment, and believe in what we're trying to achieve. We genuinely couldn't do it without you.

Please stay tuned , we're hopeful there will be more positive updates to share in the near future. πŸ€žπŸ›Ή

A huge thank you to everyone who took part in the Cattleskate Cards beta ranks this month! Your feedback, bug reports, suggestions, and support have been incredibly valuable as we work through the final stages of approval.

Cattleskate Cards is currently planned to launch on Android first, with iOS support already being considered for the future. We'll share much more about the app, its features, progression systems, characters, rewards, and development journey once everything has been fully approved.

For those who haven't heard about it yet, Cattleskate Cards is a skateboarding progression app created by Cattleskate Academy CIC. The app delivers daily trick and knowledge card packs designed to guide skaters from Starter level all the way to Mastery Pro, featuring over 500 real skateboard tricks, unlockable rewards, profile customisation, evolving characters like Gruff, Thistle, Chip and Quiz, coaching tools, challenges, and progression systems designed to make daily practice fun and rewarding.

Every purchase helps support the work of Cattleskate Academy CIC, including free skateboard coaching sessions and future skatepark development projects within the community.

Thank you again to all of our beta testers for helping shape Cattleskate Cards. We're looking forward to sharing more with everyone very soon!

What a brilliant weekend at Banff Skatepark πŸ›ΉπŸ’š
This past weekend we delivered 15 free coaching slots to our community, with some of the best vibes, support, and progression we’ve seen in a long time. Huge appreciation to everyone who came along and made the sessions so enjoyable!

πŸ”₯ S.A.S Transition Presents: The Skate Starters Scheme

πŸ¦‹ Skate Starters:
This past weekend we worked on jumping on and off the board, learning the ghost flip, and starting to link tricks together. Loads of confidence building and awesome progression from the crew throughout the sessions!

πŸ”₯ Herd Hustlers:
The group focused on ollies, nollies, shuvits, and variations, pushing their consistency, control, and style. Amazing effort all round as everyone kept progressing over the weekend.

πŸ’š Mature Movers (18+):
Our first adults session of the year was really awesome! We worked on improving pushing techniques, building confidence riding fakie, and practicing backside and frontside pivots. Great energy and progression throughout the session.

πŸ’š Weekends like this are what it’s all about, seeing people progress, encourage each other, and enjoy skating together as a community. Thanks again to everyone who rolled through and helped make it such a positive weekend at Banff Skatepark!

Big love to everyone at the War of the Thistles in Aberdeen this past weekend πŸ™Œ

Cattleskate Academy were there supporting Josie () and getting a skate in too. Here’s a clip of her outside of the jam, taking on the extension… not an easy thing to step up to πŸ˜… glad I had a proper view of it from ground level.

It’s been class watching her progress. From learning transition at Banff skatepark to handling bigger parks like this. It really shows what consistent skating and the right support can do.

Respect to the coaches at Transition Extreme () β€” the work they’re putting in with skaters is clear to see πŸ‘

Quality to see skaters coming through and pushing themselves, especially coming from smaller places πŸ›Ή

Also good to catch Eddie Belvedere () and Ben Grove () making the trip up from Manchester, always ace to see their skating and how they approach a park.
