🌄 Evening Walk Up Scolty – Tomorrow at 7:30pm

Looking for a great way to unwind, get outdoors and meet some new people?

Tomorrow evening, a group of like-minded people will be heading up Scolty for a relaxed walk, meeting at the Scolty Car Park at 7:30pm.

This walk is open to everyone and is a fantastic opportunity to connect with others, enjoy some fresh air, take in the views,l and switch off after a busy day.

Incase you hadn’t already noticed, I am completely obsessed with my job!!!

Unreal effort from everyone this evening, the heat was HOT but the energy and effort was high despite this.

It’s been amazing to see so many new faces through the door and people stepping out their comfort zones. A good reminder that my classes are for all levels regardless of where you are at on your fitness journey. The hardest part is starting but once you start, you won’t regret it.

You’d think this photo was taken late in the race but it wasn’t. This was actually fairly early on, with a whole night still ahead of me.

I could already feel my body starting to ache far sooner than I expected and for a moment it felt like it was going to be a very long race. But I’m not a quitter. When I say I’m going to do something, I’ll bloody do it.

This photo will always remind me that the tough phases never last. Your body might try to convince you that you’re done, that you’ve got nothing left to give but more often than not, you’re nowhere near your limit.

With a strong and determined mindset, I managed to pull myself out of a deep hole, get back on track and eventually finish stronger than I started, with over 100km in the legs.

The body gives up long before the mind has to.

Mind. Over. Matter.

Still on a massive high after an incredible weekend (despite the lack of sleep!).

This has given me a huge confidence boost ahead of September’s big race - 24 hours on a 400m track. There were plenty of lessons learned over the weekend, all of which I’ll take with me into the next challenge.

It was far from easy. The course was hilly, the terrain tough at times, yet it was absolutely stunning from start to finish.

I’m really proud of my body and how strong it felt, especially in the final stages of the race where it really should have been struggling yet I felt that’s when I came to life and felt my strongest!

Running is such a powerful thing. The people you meet, the things it teaches you, the highs and the lows, the moments that make you question yourself and the moments that remind you exactly what you’re capable of - it’s why I love it so much.

On to the next challenge. 💪🏃‍♀️

Fuelled by & numerous rice puddings!

Chaotic and dangerous- a team of 2 up against teams of 4. We went in with the goal of getting some good prep for our 24-hour race in September and seeing what we could do.

I’m proud of my body for getting through 115km of trails, hills, hot conditions and then very, very cold conditions through the night. Together, we managed to clock 221km.

Another weekend of my body amazing me with what it can do.

I hit a bit of a dark place during the night due to being unprepared for the cold and the long hours of darkness. At one point, I thought I might have to just keep grinding through it but somehow I managed to turn things around and started running some of my faster loops at the end of the race - with over 100km already in the legs.

A huge well done to everyone who was out there yesterday and a special shoutout to my brother, who literally went from 5k to ultra in the 6-hour solo event. Once again, proof of what a strong mind can achieve.

Finally, a massive thank you to everyone who has supported me - my friends & Claire!!! clients, family, and everyone who was there yesterday. The support has been unreal and has definitely not gone unnoticed.

Alice and Tom, thank you so much for another incredible race. The event was superb, with an amazing atmosphere and energy from start to finish.
