So thrilled to be a part of the team delivering these sessions. Guiding Teen Yoga brings me such joy. We will each bring a slightly different style, offering the girls a taste of various invaluable techniques for overall body confidence, positive self-image, calm in body and mind. I’ll be offering a more restorative twist - think mindful movement, bolsters, inspirational words and affirmation cards. Please share widely to spread the word.

📣 We’re delighted to finally announce the details of our FREE teen girls programme! 📣

We have been awarded funding in collaboration with Active Schools Aberdeenshire (huge thanks to ) to enable us to offer several free 4 week courses across the current academic year aimed specifically at S4-S6 girls in Banchory.

Each course will deliver 4 weeks of yoga and mindfulness sessions from a variety of our practitioners. The sessions will take place on Tuesdays after school (3:45-4:30pm) at our fully equipped studio.

Our aim with these sessions is to help offer crucial tools to help improve the participants’ mental health and wellbeing, and manage feelings of anxiety during this often stressful time in their lives. Our aim for the longer term is to help the participants’ gain awareness of their emotional responses and encourage self-management of behaviour as they begin to navigate life beyond school.

Course 1:
26 November - 17 December

Course 2:
7 January - 28 January

Course 3 and 4 dates TBC

For anyone looking for kids yoga - this will be lovely I’m sure 😍
I’m no longer teaching kids yoga at present. Happy memories of such fun classes though. Yoga is wonderful for all ages 😃

🌈 Pre School Community Session (donation based)

Join Laura and Lynsey for a special afternoon of yoga and xhail fun for both children and their grown ups. This session will include songs, movement, breathing exercises and meditation. These activities will help the little ones express their feelings and learn to connect with their bodies. It is a wonderful opportunity for families to bond and engage together. Everyone is welcome to this community class making it a great way to meet others and enjoy a healthy activity. Recommended for age 3 to 5 year olds. Stay on after for a cuppa and chat!

What a wonderful year 2023 has been. A huge thank you to each and everyone for your interest and support. Sending you all the biggest Oxytocin hug 🤗
Lots to look forward to in 2024 starting with our Vision Board/Yoga workshop Sunday 7th, then Teen Yoga De-Stress starts up again Weds 10th and Nurturing Yoga for Women Thursday 11th, then I’ll be at the Aberdeen Health and Wellbeing Festival Saturday 13th 😅
I’m really looking forward to a couple of weekends in London Jan/Feb, for further training in Restorative Yoga which I can’t wait to share with you 😴 😊
My new booking system and website is now up and running 🥳, so I’ll be sharing everything on THIS page and the website only (not the kids and teen pages). A new look but hopefully a helpful one. Bookings will link through the website instantaneously. We need all the streamlining we can get don’t we?! 😄
