Almost a week on from Mathewsons live 2026! A fantastic well ran event 👏🏻 a big thankyou and congratulations to the Mathewson family for inviting us to such a brilliant and succesful weekend, to Malton Motor Club and their army of helpers who did a brilliant job with the rally stage! And to everyone who made it a fantastic weekend of motorsport to remember!

We will enjoy a break this bank holiday weekend before a big weekend to come next week at Rali Ceredigion! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

WINNERS AT THE GRAMPIAN RALLY!!🤩🤩

Wow… what a weekend for our team, Luke and Ifan battled hard all weekend in North east Scotland.

Pushing from the word go, they instantly settled into a good rhythm after the 2 Friday evening stages, settling into 2nd Stellantis Motorsport UK/Ireland crew, and Leading British Rally Championship Juniors!

Day 2 started well, instantly getting back in the pace, taking a string of fastest times before service, extending the lead in JBRC and closing down on the Stellantis leaders. Sadly Callum and Nikki would drop out of the battle later in the day slipping off the road on the treacherous stages, a real shame after what had been sure a great battle till then!


Safely through the next loop and final service, the boys drove a Mature afternoon to bring the Opel Motorsport Corsa Rally4 home:

19th overall

🥇 Stellantis Cup UK
🥇 Junior BRC

This is a massive result for us as a team, being new to the series this year, we knew it wouldn’t be easy. But between the 2 boys in the car, and the rest of the team supporting, we have all made the dream first win in the BRC a reality, hopefully the first of many!😎

Our fantastic team on event and in the workshop, giving the lads the best possible car all weekend, making the correct tyre and setup strategies all weekend making the job in the car just a bit easier🤩

A mixed weekend at the pendragon stages!

A good battle was developing between our two crews in the overall standings, only separated by a second at the half way point! 😮

Sadly for Mark and Andrew the afternoon wasn’t to be so enjoyable, on ss6 they had to retire due to a technical issue with the car, a shame after a good battle till then and a dominant class lead, the car is now receiving some TLC from Tony Bardy Motorsport and will be back out on the stages very soon!🤟🏼

Tom and Tony soldiered on upholding team honour in the Adam R2, after a Notional time and an issue with a CV joint that hampered their pace slightly, they were delighted to bring the car home 18th overall, 3rd in class!

Sadly no action shots can be shared from this event due to it taking place on military land! No rest for the wicked though as this weekend we head north to the Grampian Rally in Banchory 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 for the 3rd round of the British Rally Championship!

Luke and Ifan are seeded car 53, 2nd of the JBRC runners and 1st of the Stellantis Motorsport UK/Ireland crews! It looks like it’s going to be a big battle on what is new territory for us, in the north eastern Scottish forests 🌳

The event kicks off on Friday evening with 2 stages, before heading back out on Saturday for a full days action! We will be keeping socials up to date with results and live stream links 💪🏻

All ready for tomorrows Pendragon Stages Rally💪🏻

Mark and Andrew away in the corsa at car 23, first time out for them since the Yorkshire dales rally!

Tom and Tony are also back out in the Adam, they are just behind at car 25, and are looking forward to what could potentially be a fair class battle!

Luke is also out competing, co driving for one of our sponsors M Percival Plumbing and Heating in his Skoda at car 82💪🏻

What a fantastic weekend At the Nicky Grist Stages 👏🏻

The stages were hot and mega dusty, but our guys battled on and brought home the silverware💪🏻

Luke and Ifan had a great rally, an ideal test for the Grampian rally next month they instantly felt at home on gravel again after a few months out. They had a trouble free run and were on a mighty pace, lying 12th overall and 1st 2wd car after the first pair of stages! Sadly a couple of notional times throughout the day spoiled their chances of that. But 17th overall and 1st in class was still a brilliant effort.

Tom and Tony also had a great rally, instantly in the class 7/ R2 cup class battle from the word go. After a tight day of competition they came home 34th overall and 1st in class, their only issue was the Adam getting a little warm in the longer stages in the very hot temperatures. But barring this, no problems for either crew!

Overall a very productive weekend for the team. Big thanks to all our team and sponsors, and to the organisers and Marshalls for a great rally! We now have a 2 weekend break, before the pendragon stages on 2nd of August! 📸 Ben Lawrence photography
