Facilities at Woodgreen Leisure Centre comprise of;
A 50 Station Gym
2 Fitness Studios
50m outdoor swimming pool and aqua splash area (open in summer months)
6 rink indoor bowls hall (open in winter months)! Our current opening times:

Saturday & Sunday:

🚨 FRIENDLY REMINDER 🚨

Our UNDER 5s Swim Sessions and Aqua Tots Sessions are designed specifically for children aged UNDER 5 YEARS ONLY.

👶 Under 5s Swim Session – Includes access to both the pool and splash area.
💦 Aqua Tots Session – Includes access to the splash zone only.

To ensure these sessions remain safe, enjoyable, and suitable for our youngest visitors, children aged 5 and over will not be permitted to attend.

With the warm weather and exceptionally high demand, we strongly recommend booking your swim sessions in advance to avoid disappointment.

💧 Stay hydrated and bring plenty of water
🧴 Apply and reapply sun cream regularly
🏊 Book ahead wherever possible

A reminder that children are not permitted in lane swimming sessions unless prior agreement has been given by management.

We are committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone. Our staff are working incredibly hard during this busy period, and we will not tolerate rude or abusive behaviour towards them.

With temperatures rising, we're expecting a very busy week at the pool! 🏊💦

For Public Swim sessions, we will be operating two separate queues:
🏊 Pre-booked customers
🏊 Pay on arrival customers

If we reach maximum capacity, entry will move to a 1-OUT / 1-IN system to ensure everyone's safety and comfort.

Before you visit, please remember:
💦 Plenty of water
🧴 Sun cream
🧢 A hat
🪙 £1 coin or locker token

Our team will be working hard to accommodate everyone throughout the day. Please be patient, kind and respectful – antisocial behaviour or abuse towards staff will not be tolerated.

💧 Bring plenty of water and stay hydrated throughout your session.
🧴 Don't forget your sun cream and reapply as needed.
🌳 We have lots of picnic benches and grassed areas where you can sit, relax, and take a hydration break.

Planning your next swim? You can book your Public Swim sessions online and secure your spot up to 7 days in advance!

Booking is quick and easy through the Leisure Centre App or on the Woodgreen Leisure Centre website.

📅 Term Time Public Swim Sessions:
🏊 Monday – 16:00–18:00
🏊 Wednesday – 16:00–18:00
🏊 Friday – 16:00–18:00
🏊 Saturday & Sunday
• 10:00–12:00
• 13:00–15:00
• 15:30–17:30

✅ You do not need to be a member to book, but all customers must create an account first.
