Adderbury Running Club

Adderbury Running Club Helping runners of all abilities achieve their ambitions from 3 miles to marathon runs; while enjoying fantastic company and support😁

It all started as "Wouldn't it be great to have a Half Marathon in our village" while founders Jimmy Young, Gareth Stapleton and Tony Gill enjoyed a glass or two. In the time since we have become affiliated to England Athletics and have built a membership of competing and social members. The emphasis is on getting people of all ages fit and changing the mindset that entering races is generally more about crossing the line than winning the race. And yes we do have some fast runners.

Good evening. It's that time of the week when we are starting to get the roster sorted for Saturday. We would love you to join us as a volunteer for event #465 and have the following roles still up for grabs:

Volunteer only roles:
⏱ 1 x timekeeper
🦺4 x marshals
🎟 1 x finish tokens
🎟 1 x finish token support

If you still want to get a run in this weekend and lend a hand, we have a few roles you can double up on for a run & volunteer credit:
📱3 x Barcode Scanners (if you run 25mins or less)
📝1 x Run Report Writer
