Qigong is a 4000 year old diverse set of practices that coordinate body, breath, and mind based on Chinese philosophy. Practices include moving and still meditation, massage and sound meditation. Tai Chi is a centuries old Chinese martial art that descends from qigong, embracing the mind, body and spirit - Tai Chi is one of the most effective exercises for a healthy mind and body. Tai Chi movements are gentle and low impact. It is renowned for being slow, controlled and flowing, with the graceful manoeuvres combining into a ‘Form’ (sequence). It is a powerful system of health, which has effects on many levels.
