A brilliant day on the course, with plenty of pink and a great 9-hole competition. With plenty of happy faces on show.

Banbridge Golf Club’s Ladies contested the Cowdy Final against Malone at Lurgan Golf Club on Sunday 20th September 2026. Despite their best efforts, the team were defeated by an impressive Malone side, to whom we extend our congratulations.

Reaching the final was an achievement to be proud of. Sincere thanks go to every member of the panel who gave their time to represent Banbridge throughout the year. Their commitment and team spirit have been greatly appreciated.

A very special thank you goes to all the members who came out to support our team in the final. Your encouragement meant a great deal to the players and helped make it a memorable occasion, despite the disappointment of the result.

Superb away performance leaves final all square...

Banbridge Golf Club produced a superb away performance at Cloverhill in the first leg of the Sam Rutherford Final on Sunday 20th September 2026. Finishing level on holes with their opponents, the team secured an excellent result to leave everything to play for in the return leg at Banbridge.

It was an effort the whole team can be proud of, but this is only half-time. There is still plenty of work to be done, and the focus now turns to completing the job on home soil next Sunday.

The team would like to extend a sincere thank you to all the supporters who made the journey to Cloverhill. Your encouragement and support were very much appreciated by everyone involved.

The return leg takes place at Banbridge Golf Club on Sunday 27th September, with tee-off at 12 noon. It would be wonderful to see another strong turnout to cheer the lads on as they give their all in the deciding leg. We look forward to seeing you there!
