Feeling stressed right now? This can shift your body from wired to calm in under a minute – no equipment, no privacy needed, works anywhere.

It's called the Physiological Sigh: a quick double breath in through the nose, then a long, slow breath out. That out-breath naturally slows your heart rate and signals your whole system to settle.

It's technique #1 in my free De-Stress Toolkit – five simple, science-backed ways to calm your nervous system on the spot. The full compilation video and a printable cheat sheet are free in my 'Heal Up and Thrive' Facebook group.

Two years of inconsolable grief, eased in two sessions. πŸ’›

Aishleen lost her baby son, Ronan, when he was five months old. For two years the grief was "mentally and emotionally draining" – pain that felt too heavy to carry.

In the first session, things shifted. Not the memories – those are still hers, all of them. Not the love – if anything, that deepened. But the raw, body-tight trauma of the loss eased, and she felt lighter. "The love connection is still there," she says, "but the pain and the trauma has eased."

This is what grief work can be: not forgetting, not "getting over it," but being able to hold the one you've lost with love instead of unbearable pain.

If you're carrying a loss that still feels too heavy, you don't have to carry it alone. πŸ’›

Still here. Still going. Still enough.
If you've had a hard season – or a hard few years – and you're still showing up, still putting one foot in front of the other, still trying...
That's not nothing. That's everything.
The stream doesn't stop because there are obstacles in its path. It finds its way around them, over them, through them.
So do you. 🌿

He missed her every day for two years. 🀍

Two years after losing his wife, his grief was as raw as ever – the second year even harder than the first. He couldn't sleep. He teared up at the mere mention of her name.

We sat down together for a single session. By the end – about an hour and a half – something had lifted. He came away feeling he'd been able to reconnect with her and find some peace, and he told me, "I feel like I can take on the world." That afternoon he slept properly for the first time in longer than he could remember.

Heavy grief that won't lift, even years later, doesn't have to be permanent. It isn't about forgetting, or loving them any less – it's about being able to carry the loss without it crushing you.

If a grief like that is weighing on you, you don't have to carry it alone. ❀️

Not everything needs to be done today.

These two had the right idea.

Your nervous system wasn't designed for the pace most of us are running at. The relentless to-do list, the constant connectivity, the guilt when you stop moving – none of that is natural. None of it is healthy.

Rest isn't laziness. Slowing down isn't falling behind.

Sometimes the wisest thing your body can do is exactly what these two are doing. 🟒

There's a place between suicidal and fine that nobody talks about.

Millions of people live there.

You're not in crisis. But you're not OK either. You haven't been OK in so long you've almost forgotten what OK feels like.

You're exhausted. In a way that sleep doesn't fix. Exhausted by the performance of being fine.

And the myth that keeps people there longest?

_I'm not bad enough to need help._

You don't have to be in crisis to deserve support. The grey zone is real. And if this is you – I see you. πŸ”΅

A lifetime terror of dogs – gone in an hour. 🐾
Moya was chased by a dog as a little girl, and the fear never left – until one session with me. She came out "a different person, I guess" (her words 😊) – happier, more confident, and it wasn't just the dog issue that shifted.
Here's the truth about phobias, panic, and lifelong fears: they're not who you are. They're old programming your subconscious never switched off – and oby clearing that at its root, it can be released and healed remarkably fast, often in a single session.
If you've carried something for years and quietly decided you're just "too broken" to change – you're not. You just need help re-writing old programmes.

[Sound on!πŸ”Š] Your body sends signals all day.
The question is whether you're listening.
Fatigue that sleep doesn't fix. Anxiety that appears from nowhere. A knot in the stomach before you've even identified why. Cravings that arrive right on cue.
These aren't random. They're messages.
Your body has been trying to get your attention for a long time. Learning to listen – really listen – is where healing begins. 🟒

Here's something that might surprise you.

Humans are trance machines.

If you're conscious, you're almost always in some level of trance. Remembering a relaxing holiday – trance. Dreading tomorrow's difficult meeting – trance. Awake at 3am, looping those memories you can't make sense of – also trance.

Trauma gets encoded in an altered state. And then it loops. Infinitely. Because the mind and body don't know it's over.

But here's the other side of that coin.

Because it was encoded using the brain's capacity for one-trial learning – it can be updated using exactly the same mechanism.

You can break the loop, almost as fast as it was begun. πŸ”΅

Animals in the wild rarely get stuck in trauma. Humans do it all the time.

Watch an impala after a leopard attack. Watch a polar bear coming round from a helicopter chase and a tranquiliser dart. Both shake – violently. That's the body doing exactly what it was designed to do: discharging the energy of a life-threatening experience so it doesn't get stored.

Most humans have forgotten how to do that.

And when we don't – the experience doesn't disappear. It gets stuck. In the body and the mind. Sometimes for decades.

Part 2 explains why it keeps looping – and what you can actually do about it. Follow so you don't miss it. πŸ”΅
