Qualified P1 in the Superbike Cup today! 👊

Showed we’ve got good pace all weekend, especially our first weekend in MotoAmerica on Dunlops.

Unfortunately, the race ended early. I got a great drive onto the back straight, picked up a huge slipstream and arrived at the braking zone with a lot more speed than I’d had all weekend. Sucked in & got caught out and couldn’t get it stopped, especially with the extra fuel load.

I don’t think we have a straight this length anywhere in the UK!

Frustrating one, but that’s racing. Take the positives from pole, reset and go again tomorrow! ✊🏁

Challenging weekend at Oulton Park.

We came away with some valuable points in Race 1, and made a really positive step forward in Race 2. We found a much better feeling with the bike and I set my fastest-ever lap around Oulton, which is something to build on.

It’s disappointing to end the weekend crashing out of a good result. It was a strange one as we didn’t feel we’d done much wrong. Sorry to the team—we worked incredibly hard all weekend and deserved more. That’s racing.

Despite the result, we leave with a much stronger package returning to Oulton, more confidence built, and plenty of positives to take into Thruxton.
