Yesterday, our U6 boys and girls were delighted to be invited along to the Pádraig Rafferty Memorial Football Blitz Redmond O'Hanlons GAC

For many of our Mini Reds, this was their first ever experience of playing in a football match, and what a fantastic first experience it was!

The boys and girls took on teams from across Armagh and had an absolute ball. They have been working hard at training every week, so it was brilliant to see them putting all those skills into practice for the very first time.

There were plenty of smiles, lots of fun and some super football throughout the morning. 😁

A huge thank you to Redmond O'Hanlons GAC for inviting us, for hosting such a fantastic blitz and supplying refreshments and medals. We hope this is just the first of many matches and memorable days out for our Mini Reds! ❤️🤍

Our U14 girls were invited along to Thomas Davis outside Newry this morning to take part in the Patrick Rankins Festival of Football.

It was a fantastic opportunity for the girls to play against some new teams from the Armagh area, giving them some great preparation ahead of their Championship campaign next week.

The girls played some brilliant football throughout the morning and battled their way through to the final, where they were unfortunate to come away with a defeat.

A fantastic performance from all the girls and a great morning of football! 👏❤️🤍

Well done to our U12 camogs this morning as St Mary’s took on Ballela and Carryduff in a mini blitz in Ballela.

All the girls performed fantastically and it was brilliant to see such great numbers out and so many girls getting plenty of game time.

A huge well done to all the girls for their effort, enthusiasm and teamwork! 👏

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has supported our Gym Fundraiser so far. Thanks to your incredible generosity, we have now raised over £11,000 towards our £15,000 target! 🏋️‍♀️👏

This is a fantastic start, but we still have a way to go! There are now just TWO WEEKS remaining to get your sponsorship in. ⏰

We are continuing to welcome sponsorships from individuals, families and, in particular, local businesses who would like to support the development of our new gym facility.

Aghaderg GAC and Ballyvarley HC are saddened to hear of the passing of Mary McCone, sister of our U12 amalgamated camogie coach, Colette Lamb from Newry Shamrocks.

We extend our deepest sympathies to Colette at this very sad time.

🔴 U10 Football ⚪️

Today the U10 boys travelled to Dromara for a blitz and what a way to finish the season! 👏🔴⚪️

The boys played 5 games and came away with 5 wins from 5. 🏆

The work rate from the first whistle of the day right until the very end was unreal.

The way the boys played for each other and worked as a team was brilliant to watch, with some fantastic tackles, great defending and plenty of excellent scores throughout the five games.

What a way to finish the season in style!

5 games. 5 wins. 💪🔥

You should all be proud of yourselves. 👏🔴⚪️
