10am Wednesdays

(no coaching/official training - just like minded people who fancy a run). Banbridge based - runs in Banbridge, also out & about in forest parks around the region. But feel free to keep running! The group is suitable for anyone who wants to run, any age, male or female, whether you are a:

- new walk/runner/plodder
- aiming for your first 5k or 10k
- training for

your first 1/2 or full marathon
- pushing for your own PB (personal best)

It's great to meet with other runners for a chat - you don't need to run together, you can, but don't have to. It's good to chat before & after to pick up tips on running, events, gear etc. Committing to turn up for a run makes me do it - I find it a bit lonely always running on my own on the same routes. Many groups have stopped due to Covid-19. Most groups run in the evenings which doesn't suit me. I couldn't find any other groups so decided to set one up for myself.

Meet at BANBRIDGE LEISURE CENTRE car park (in front of Tennis Courts) at 10am on Wednesday 9th June.

It doesn't matter if you want to do a walk-run, a 5 or 10k. We can meet at the start & compare notes at the end! πŸ‘

It's 1 degree outside - beautiful, blue sky & lots of ice. I've never run with so much clothing ! - 2 long sleeve tops, waterproof, gloves Got my Christmas pressie Sweaty Betty leggings on! πŸŽπŸŽ…

πŸ‘Ÿ A slow run as the roads were icy - wore my battered trail trainers. πŸ‘Ÿ Lovely to get out πŸ˜€
