On Saturday we hosted a free Confidence Workshop for clients 🤍
One of the things I’m most proud of at Sweat & Sculpt Society is that we don’t just focus on fitness. Whilst movement can be an incredible tool for building confidence, we know that true wellbeing goes far beyond the gym floor!!
I see the gym/fitness as simply the first stepping stone. The real change often comes from the conversations we have, the beliefs we challenge, the confidence we build and the way we start showing up for ourselves outside of the gym more than inside as we all often nail that after a little while, especially here ☺️
During the workshop, we explored confidence from a much deeper level. We started by identifying the qualities we already possess but often overlook, perspective on what confidence is, before diving into the stories, labels and beliefs that can keep us stuck.
There was journaling, reflection, discussion, movement, plenty of laughter, group hugs, some tears with a few moments that pushed people gently outside of their comfort zones. We talked about who we are today, who we want to become, and the small actions that help bridge the gap between the two.
The room was full of honesty, vulnerability, support and connection and it was a proactively challenging the statement/belief that you’re either born with confidence or you’re not (HINT: it’s up to you to build it!!)
