Our Player-Manager Louisa’s thoughts;
A really good run out for the girls today following our midweek win!
We showed great composure from the start, taking an early lead in the 3rd minute with a lovely finish from Emma. We continued to play some clinical football, with Karen adding a smart finish to make it 2-0.
Radcliffe showed great spirit and pulled one back to make things a little tighter, but the girls responded brilliantly, adding another three goals before half time.
The second half was a different challenge. Radcliffe came out fighting and got themselves two more goals, but the girls showed fantastic character to bounce back, with Emma completing another goal for us.
Some really good football, stunning finishes and some brilliant assists today. The first-half dominance and second-half fight are both things we can take forward and build on.
Player of the Match: Emma
A standout performance, deservedly earning Player of the Match from her teammates!
But credit to every single player today — everyone put a shift in, and those brilliant assists certainly helped Emma get on the scoresheet!
