That 💡 moment!

Do you ever have a moment when something just clicks!

I had one of those moments while pedalling away this morning 😁

I used to teach classes but I don’t anymore and I actually miss spin! (I know, said no one ever 🤣).

So I got on YouTube and picked a fairly challenging looking 30 minute class, and let me tell you I was hanging after it 🥵

I decided there and then that I would do that class twice a week until I got to the point where I felt I could teach it, where it didn’t feel too difficult anymore, when I’m fitter.

So it’s week 2 and whilst having one of the few breathers during the class I look out at my house, garden and new car and think of all the challenges I have overcome to get here and it hit me…..

This spin class represents those challenges, all those tough workouts, classes, CrossFit sessions, obstacle races, runs, cycles were all at some point challenging yet here I am!

I always knew I exercised and wanted to help others exercise because it made me feel so good!

But it’s so much more than that!

It’s confidence, resilience, identity, self worth, metal toughness, joy, and so much more 🙌

Why do you exercise or don’t you exercise?

Wouldn’t you want to improve all those things and more??

What are you waiting for??

On Mondays we move!

Yes, yes, I know it’s Tuesday 🤣

I had no room to move yesterday so here we are!

You can always adapt, don’t be too rigid with yourself!

I almost beat myself yesterday for not working out 😱 but then I remembered….

Tomorrow is another day and another opportunity 😁

On Mondays we move!

This Monday mornings movement looks a little different!

We swapped the gym for the beach, with a beautiful sunrise and the weights for a soggy but fantastic schooling session 🐴

Was is active and energetic ✅

Did it make me feel good ✅

Has it made my day a little brighter ✅

Did you change it up this morning or did you roll over and go back to sleep when you saw the forecast 🤣

Either way, I hope you are having a good start to the week!

And remember, unlike the witch from the wizard of oz, you won’t melt 🧙‍♀️🌧🤣

Tip number 4

To start getting more active 🕺

I wonder how much of your day you spend scrolling through Facebook, watching YouTube or TikTok videos and browsing instagram 🤔

Probably more time than you think and definitely more time than you probably want to!

Putting the phone down can be difficult once you’ve been sucked in so why not set some limits on how long you can use social media for?!

Then put your phone down and go do all those things you’ve been watching others do or all the things you’ve been meaning to do!

I can almost guarantee it’ll be time better spent and you’ll feel better for it afterwards 😁

🔥 Morning Motivation 🔥

Where does it come from?

My current motivation comes from wanting to get better at horse riding 🏇

I have some weaknesses in the saddle and can work towards strengthening these in the gym!

So what did I do?

Well I started with an exercise I really like, then moved on to one’s I’m not so fussed for but will help me improve.

Then I chucked in a few sets of the dreaded push ups at the end (not my favourite but want to get better at them 😅).

Why do you want to get up and train today?

To feel better?

To live better?

To move better?

To sleep better?

To be able to do something better?

Whatever it is, this is your sign to get up and go for it 💪😁✌️

It’s free 😁

You get activity, fresh air and nature all in one go 🌳

You can go with a friend, join a walking group or even start your own!

Get a dog! Ok that’s a bit extreme to get you walking but walk someone else’s or even take them too 🤣
