Ballywalter Bowling and Rec Club Sports and social club based in Ballywalter with restaurant facilities available. Restaurant facilities are available Wednesday- Sunday.

Ballywalter Bowling and Recreation Club is a sports and social club in the Ards pen*sula area of Ballywalter. Formed in 1972, extensively renovated in 2009 to include large function room and changing facilities for sports use. Function room is available for private parties (birthdays, christenings, charity fundraisers etc)

A quiz night is held every Friday night at 9.30pm. Entertainment is provi

ded every Saturday night with music to suit all tastes and ages. The club is family friendly and caters for youth football from ages 6-16 years old. New members will be made most welcome and application forms for associate and full members are available from bar staff. 🚨 NIWPGL Junior League Division 1 – Week 4 Update 🚨

Four weeks in and the table is really starting to take shape, with a new leader at the top and the race for honours heating up 🔥

Ulster Transport Bowling Club J1 move into top spot on 15.5 points after another dominant performance, making home advantage count with a commanding 52–14 win over previous leaders CI Knock Bowling Club.

Hot on their heels are Belfast, just one point behind on 14.5 and firmly in the title hunt after a consistent start. They made it back-to-back wins with a hard-fought 35–29 victory over Falls Bowling Club J1

Magheradroll continue to impress in 3rd place on 13 points, making it three wins from four. They edged a tight contest against Comber Bowling Club, coming out on top 33–31 to keep the pressure on the leading pack.

Ballywalter Bowling and Rec Club are back on track after a mixed start to the season picking up full points in a 37-23 win over Larne Bowling and Lawn Tennis Club

Downpatrick Bowling Club were the other winners this week with a 34-23 win over Hilden Bowling Club.

With the table tightening and plenty of big games still to come, Division 1 is shaping up to be incredibly competitive and it’s still all to play for💥
