JUNIOR & CADET INDUCTION EVENINGS

Tuesday 16th June
Thursday 24th June

Time: 7:30pm

All Juveniles, Cadets and Parents are encouraged to attend.

Join us for one of our important induction evenings as we prepare for the summer season ahead. We ask that all Juveniles attend with their parents, and that at least one parent or guardian accompanies each Cadet.

What will be covered?

• How to book tee times and club activities
• Golf course etiquette and expected behaviour
• The importance of repairing divots and pitch marks
• Correct bunker etiquette, including how to leave and rake a bunker after playing a shot
• Basic Rules of Golf and on-course procedures
• Junior and Cadet coaching arrangements
• Club expectations regarding attendance, conduct and respect for fellow members, volunteers and staff
• Opportunities for competitions and events throughout the summer

Congratulations Belfast Bogeys, ForeFatherRyan, Gavs Golf and Golfing With YauZerz (Jamie, Ryan, Gav and Jason!) for bringing this all together. You should feel immensely proud!

Our thanks, too, to all of our fantastic volunteers and amazing staff, to all the spectators and, of course, the 100 Creators! You all played your part to make this day a real success.

Simon Thornton is the 2026 Vermilion Energy Pro-Am Champion after finishing on 7 under par across two days of golf.

Having also lifted the trophy in 2025, Simon successfully defends his title with another outstanding performance.
