🌟 Final Week of Gather and Graze 🌟
What a wonderful way to wrap up this year’s Gather and Graze! Today’s menu was a true crowd-pleaser, featuring a mouth-watering breaded chicken and bacon stack with crispy onions, served on a bed of creamy mashed potatoes and finished with a rich peppered sauce. For dessert, everyone enjoyed our homemade brioche bread and butter pudding with vanilla anglaise sauce – pure indulgence! 🍽️
The pensioners were absolutely delighted and even scored the meal an incredible 11 out of 10! 🙌
Over the past weeks, it has been an absolute joy welcoming our wonderful group of over 55s to Gather and Graze. Each week was filled not only with delicious food, but with laughter, conversation, friendship, and a genuine sense of community.
We have been truly touched by the kind words of appreciation, thoughtful cards, and lovely gifts we received as a thank you. Your generosity and gratitude meant more than words can say and made all our hard work so worthwhile.
It has been a privilege to spend this time with such a warm and welcoming group, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who came along and made Gather and Graze such a special experience. While we’re very sad that it has come to an end for this year, we hope to bring it back again in the future – so please keep an eye on our social media for updates.
A huge thank you to our amazing caterers and volunteers for delivering six fabulous weeks of delicious food and wonderful community spirit. 💙
