Ballymena Silat A martial arts class which teaches traditional Pencak Silat. This class offers you the chance to learn self defense techniques with a modern twist.

Areas covered include: improvised weapons, multiple attack situations, hold up or mugging defences and many more. This class is suitable for beginners or anyone with experience. If you are looking for a a martial arts with a difference then why not come and see what it's all about? Classes are every Monday at 7:30pm Leisure Centre Ballymena. The Ballymena Silat Club was set up around the start of

1993 and has since been dedicated to practising SE Asian martial arts. Guru Robert and Guru Denny have been the cornerstone of strength for the Club having been with the club almost from the start. The training in the class covers Gayong Harimau Silat and Pukulan Cimande Silat. The club is affiliated with Guru Besar (Master) Liam McDonalds Urban Silat: Combat Kali Academy in Dublin.
