Ballymena RFC Youth Ballymena RFC has a thriving youth section currently fielding teams at U14's,U16's & U18's level in the Provincial North League.

Training is held on Tuesday & Thursday evenings between 7pm and 9pm. Matches are usually on a Saturday morning at 11am.

☘️ IRELAND U18 CLUB INTERNATIONAL☘️
Massive congratulations to Tyrese Dunlop on making his international debut at the weekend for Ireland U18 Clubs.
Tyrese came on as a second half replacement in the second row against Italy with Ireland already behind on the scoreboard.
Deapite a strong individual performance, he could not prevent an Italian victory.
As a club, we are incredibly proud of Tyrese's achievements as our first youth international in a number of years

⚫️⚪️Last weekend, the U18's lost out on a league title after the game finished in a draw. As there was nothing to separate the 2 side, the winner was determined by the competition regulations, and Armagh where awarded the win as they scored first.⚫️⚪️ this weekend they where right back in the action as they took on Monaghan in the cup, they showed great character to bounce back in a week and get back to winning ways. The U16's also put on a superb performance as they outclassed their opposition in every aspect of the game⚫️⚪️

⚫️⚪️🏆Just the one youth fixture this weekend for Ballymena RFC Youth, and it's a BIG one!!! The young braid men hope to secure a win in the Provincial League Final and be crowned the best side in Ulster. The boys have shown determination all season and played some great rugby along the way. ⚫️⚪️Big weekend for the U18's as they host Strabane RFC in the Provincial league S/F play-off and the U14's have an early start as they travel to Co.Cavan RFC in the Cup preliminary round 2 in a bid to gain a place in the last 16. Both matches will have a later K.O at 11:30AM and all support is greatly appreciated ⚫️⚪️🏉

⚫️⚪️Mixed results on Saturday as the U18's knocked out competition favourites Malone in an impressive display in the ¼ final of the Provincial North League Play-Off's while the U16's on the other had took an early exit from Cup Preliminarily Round 1 after falling short to an up and coming Inishowen side. The U18's will now advance to a home S/F and the U16's will go into the Bowl/shield⚫️⚪️🏉
