🏸 Junior Badminton is Back!
We’re delighted to announce the return of Ballyclare Badminton Junior Clubs for the 2026/27 season!
This year we’re excited to introduce a third junior session, giving us increased capacity and most importantly, more court time for our players to develop, play and enjoy badminton.
We now have three junior groups:
🦁 Lions – Discover • Develop • Play
For younger and new players building confidence, developing skills and having fun.
🐾 Panthers – Develop • Play • Enjoy
Developing skills through fun, social badminton.
🐦 Swifts – Challenge • Compete • Progress
For players ready to take their badminton to the next level, with a pathway towards senior club badminton, competitive teams and Ulster performance streams.

🏸 Try-Out Day – Saturday 5th September
Whether your child is returning to the club or is completely new to badminton, we’d love to see them on court. New members are very welcome to come along, give badminton a try and meet our coaching team. 🏸😊
We’re holding try-out sessions next Saturday @📍 Sixmile Leisure Centre
Ballynure Road, Ballyclare, BT39 9YU
🦁 Lions – 12:00 - 1:00pm
🐾 Panthers – 1:00 - 2:15pm
🐦 Swifts – 2:20 - 3:45
The coaching team will assess players during the try-out sessions and recommend the most appropriate session for the remainder of the season.
We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone back on court and getting another great season underway! 🏸
