During the week our “Belfast & District Cup” team had a great win over Blackwood GC, 4.5 to 1.5. 👏

Our Holt Shield team tee it up again on Friday evening at Holywood Golf Club. Good luck to Stuart & the team!

Sunday is Quarter Final day against Cairndhu Golf Club in “Junior Cup”, at Ballymena.

Great to see the team from Ballyclare High School - Official doing well 👏

⛳ A huge well done to our NEBSSA Golf finalists, who battled brilliantly to claim 3rd place overall at Ballycastle Golf Club last week.

Having come through the qualifying event in Carrickfergus a few weeks earlier, most of the team were representing the school for the first time. A fantastic achievement and a great confidence boost as they tee off their season! 👏🏌️‍♂️

Hosting 2 rounds of the Golf Ireland Barton Shield on Sunday was a privilege for Ballyclare Golf Club.

Club Captain Colin Millar, Ladies President Anne Anderson and Ladies Captain Margaret Patchett welcomed 16 teams of the best amateur golfers in Northern Ireland on the 1st tee.

Early feedback from visitors shows our teams of staff & volunteers throughout the club have excelled in achieving more than could be wished for.

We look forward to doing it all again, and even better next time!

Our Ulster Fourball team are on a roll! A fantastic 6.5 to 3.5 Win over Lisburn GC sees our guys progress in to the 'Round 4 / Last 16' stage to face Rockmount Golf Club. Outstanding results from the team led by Gary Anderson & Mark "Radish" Radcliffe. Our strong travelling support no doubt helped the guys across the line. Well done team, and supporters!

The Ladies Intermediate Foursomes team unfortunately were beaten. Congratulations to Ballybofey & Stranorlar Golf Club New.

Our Barton Shield lads won their morning Round 2 match, overcoming Fortwilliam GC. However the team from Lisburn Golf Club took the honours in the afternoon Round 3 match. (More on this big event to follow on a separate post).

Sunday’s matches see our Barton Shield team at home as we host both Round 2 & 3 of this prestigious tournament at Ballyclare.

The Ulster Fourball team travel with a 3-2 lead over Lisburn. Let’s hope the guys get the job done!
