We introduce Dave, A big part of our boxing programme at the gym.

“I boxed amateur growing up and always have had a passion for boxing, when I moved to ballycastle the opportunity came to go and volunteer in ballycastle amature boxing club”

“I used my experience to gain my fundamentals and club coach qualification, it was also a big moment for me when i was recognised for my efforts to the club and sport when I won sports coach of the year for causeway coast and glens in 2024!”

Dave now also coaches our Sunday kids class and woman’s box fit!

Cíara just recently joined the team, offering a top quality yoga class!

“Hi I’m Cíara Maguire. I’m 48 years old I’ve tried every type of training until I found and fell in love with yoga. After 5 years of being a student I decided to become a yoga teacher and I chose the LYT method because
-it gives balance and flexibility
-Gets the heart rate up
-Has plyometrics
-Opens up tightness other exercise may lead to
-One stop shop other exercise is not necessary
-Works the Core
-Builds strength especially Core
-Mobilises Fascia
-Will help improve sleep patterns
Help flexibility for enjoying other types of exercise
-An exercise that is just as much for the mind and soul as it is for the body.”

“I didn’t start fitness until my early 20s. Before that, I genuinely thought I hated exercise.”
