We had a great day Sunday past for our Open and Junior Opens.

It was brilliant to see the course so busy and we have received some fantastic feedback after the event so thank you to everyone who came and took part.

We are already looking at getting dates organised aswell as possibly an addition or 2 to the competition calendar next year. Watch this space!

Greens cut and bunkers raked ready for our Open and Junior Open today.

The tee sheets are full and the weather gods are smiling so looking forward to a good day!!

The food truck will be open from 9-12 and again from 5-8 and the bar will open from 1pm til 9pm so come on down and enjoy a drink and some top grub while supporting your friends and family playing today.

The greens have really come on this year, good to see them healing and becoming more resilient especially with the weather we’ve had this year. From 3 times the average rainfall for June to sudden week long droughts and back again and today having both it’s been a challenging one but we are definitely moving in the right direction!

JUST OVER 2 WEEKS TO GO!!!

After bad weather forced us to cancel the Junior Open this year both the Woodlands Open and the Junior Open will be happening on Sunday 2nd of August.

This should be a great chance for young and…. not so young members and visitors to mingle and hopefully pass down some sage advice while encouraging the next generation of golfers.

Woodlands Junior Open and the Woodlands Open - Sunday 2nd August

Both events free to members and £10 for non members with trophies and prizes for 1st and 2nd aswell as Furthest Drive and Closest to the Pin competitions

The Woodlands Open is completely open to all ages and genders with no categories.

For the Juniors the competition will be split into two age categories: 8–12 years & 13–18 years.

And for our even younger golfers, we'll also be running fun golf games and challenges on the putting green for under 8s

Hi folks!!

There will be a bit of disruption this week as the Main Entrance to the estate and carpark will be closed for tarring however we are STILL OPEN!!!

There is alternative access in place taking the Glenachulish Road and entering through the back of the estate. Signposting is in place from the A828 as is alternative parking at Woodlands House with a very short walk from there to the clubhouse.

We apologise for any inconvenience however this is very much needed work so appreciate your patience.

If you go down to the course today, you’re in for a big surprise!

Today and for about a week we are trialing a pair of robot mowers on demo. They will be working away on the fairways and semi rough of the first 3 holes aswell as the 9th throughout the week. If you are curious and have any why and what for questions then catch me on the course and I’ll be happy to answer.
