Final coaching change announcement
The other notable coaching we must sadly share is Mike Rodger steps down from his role as Defencive Coordinator.

Mike Rodger has been a core part of the pack since joining as a player in 2009. Once he decided to give up playing in 2018, he continued his dedication to the team as the DB coach. In 2021, he took the step up as the teams Defencive Coordinator role.

He created a smart, savvy, and ferocious defence that had great success under his guidance. The efforts Mike made to prepare the team for opponents or evolve the defence to fit team personnel were key components to its success.

Pack leader changes
First note for the 2025 season is that we must share the unfortunate news that head coach Victor Peredo has decided to step down from his role.

Victor took over as head coach at the start of the 2022 season, which was our first season back to Premiership football following Covid. Through his tenure with the Wolves, he has brought great success leading the team to its first ever winning season in BAFA Premiership and its first ever appearance in Premiership playoffs.

He brought a great level of dedication to the team while providing a source of inspiration and leadership for the players. His teachings will continue within the players that remain. We will proudly call him a fellow wolf for life.

We wish him all the best in his future football endeavors as he returns to the Stirling Clansman as their new head coach for the upcoming 2024-25 season.

The team recently completed its annual general meeting. It starts the preparations for the upcoming 2025 season, so this is our final post to reflect on the 2024 season

For 2024, the team found a new home at Malleny Park, which was the primary location for training and games throughout the year. An excellent home for the pack, which we look forward to continuing to grow our bonds with the local community and build upon going forward. It was also the location for which we had a club first ever inviting an American team (the Coe College Kowhawks) for a mid-season scrimmage.

We want to thank our great coaches, players, and staff for their dedication and efforts throughout the season. Their dedication to strive for the best, the pack mentality, and continuous effort was evident throughout the year. And finally, a bit thanks to our fans who showed up each home game to cheer us on.
On to the 2025 season! Recruitment starts now, so keep an eye on our socials for ways to get involved
