About: Charlotte Fairbrother ARAD ANATD BA Dip Tchg Charlotte grew up in New Zealand and did her ballet training with Deirdre Tarrant in the RAD syllabus. She also has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education (1997), and a Post-Graduate Diploma of Teaching (1998). Following completion of her ballet and academic studies, Charlotte danced in New Zealand and Australia, in classical ballet, contemporar
y dance, commercial and musical theatre productions. She moved to the UK in 2000, where she taught adult beginner ballet classes in London, alongside her day-job as a secondary school performing arts teacher. Charlotte moved to Hitchin with her family in 2015. In January 2018 she began teaching children’s NATD syllabus classes and open classes for adults at the Hitchin School of Russian Ballet. She founded North Hertfordshire Ballet in November 2019. Charlotte is a full member of both The Royal Academy of Dance, and the National Association of Teachers of Dancing. She is a teacher member of OneDance UK. In August 2020 Charlotte completed the 2-year Professional Diploma in Adult Dance Practice through the Royal Academy of Dance. In January 2020, Charlotte completed her Silver Swans Licensee Training, through the Royal Academy of Dance, and in May she gained her Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) certification. She has been teaching online PBT classes since June 2020. Charlotte qualified as a Barre&Baby certified teacher in March 2021.
