The Bakewell Pudding Race is a local fell and fun run, sponsored by the Old Original Bakewell Pudding Shop. The run has been held each year since 1998.

This year’s race will took place on Sunday 29th June!

Tomorrow is the day! 🥧

Please check out the pre event email in your inboxes!

We can’t wait to see you all and it looks like the weather might be a bit cooler for us! Nevertheless please make sure you are keeping yourselves hydrated throughout the day, we will have water at Race HQ and at points on the course but please carry extra if you feel you will need it.

Please note it looks like there will be roadworks between Matlock and Bakewell on the A6 tomorrow so this could affect your journey if you are travelling from the Matlock direction. There are diversions but this will probably add at least 10 minutes to your journey.

Otherwise…see you all from 9am tomorrow!

Please note we have sold out two years in a row so if you’re planning on entering, don’t delay…do it now!

The Little Kids Run will all be entry on the day - just £2.

2026 Bakewell Pudding Race entries are officially OPEN! ⚡️

That’s right people we are BACK! And this year there’s going to be even more puddings than ever before! We have not one but TWO new races for you! Alongside our Fell Race and Fun Run we are adding a Junior Fell Race (for 14- 18yo) and a Little Kids Fun Run (for kids up to 7yo)!
