A very exciting day in the store today as we had the honour of hosting our friends from Tiemco Fly Fishing , accompanied by semperfli_flytying

The day was spent browsing the store, sharing stories, chatting about the local area and its rich fishing heritage and test-casting rods! As a small token of our appreciation, our owner Marie presented them with a signed copy of Observations by Philip White and The Flies That Trout Prefer by Don Stazicker and Peter Hayes, along with a selection of hand-tied flies.

It was a real privilege to meet you both and spend time together. Thank you for visiting us 🎣

Fresh Mayflies Have Landed! 🚨

Despite whispers of legal action relating to RSI (Repetitive Strain Injury) and RVI (Repetitive Vise Injury), the ever-dedicated Philip White has once again delivered a fresh batch of his legendary Mayflies! 🪰👏

However, Phil is now taking a well-earned break, so if these flies are on your shopping list, we’d recommend getting in quick. We don’t expect them to be sitting on the fly table for long!

Don’t worry though.. we’ve sent him away with a stack of empty fly boxes and strict instructions to refill them before he returns 😄
